Little girl’s dress...

So, the first jersey fabric has been used up; it became a little dress in size 122/128, pattern and design by Inge, since I couldn’t find a pattern I
liked and I don’t see the point in spending a lot of money on a pattern
when I can make it myself.

That’s how I do it with the doll dresses, too. But I’m looking for a pants pattern for myself. I’d like to sew some summer pants, maybe. I’m curious to see if I’ll find what I’m looking for.

The dress is great. A little princess will be very happy with it.

Yes, Petra, I sew them with the coverstitch machine; that way I have the safety seam included right away. I gave it a good clean beforehand and put a small drop of oil on the joints underneath, then rethreaded it so it runs smoothly :-) Tomorrow I’ll continue sewing; the jersey fabrics are all cut out and lying on my sewing table. I’ll sew them all up bit by bit, and then I’ll move on to the cotton fabrics I still have lying around. We’ll see what I end up making from them :-) I already have quite a few ideas :-)
