Yeah, that was one of the first patterns I made, so I didn’t put my name on it yet, but I was smarter by the second one.

but you should consider whether you might want to set up a shop here as an author. So it would be good to think about that before you publish the patterns in the forum.

I never intended to make money from these things; I just wanted to help others discover the same joy in sewing that I have.

It’s great to have you here.

Many beginners love making the Sternkörbchen when they first start sewing. It’s by far the most popular of my patterns: Cutting out the fabric is very simple, and you learn very basic techniques like turning and darts, and then it’s already finished :).

The pattern is free.

To start with, gift bags might be an easy sewing project. All straight seams. You save on wrapping paper (no waste—important to me), and you can then use the bag to store toys, your yarn, or to pack shoes or dirty laundry when traveling. They’re also suitable as bread and produce bags.

  You can also decorate them with colorful ribbons or sew a design onto them using a zigzag stitch. 

The little basket from CraftingCafe is really great.
And WollwunderPetra's bags are awesome.
