You've been busy, dear Inge. You've created some enchanting little things. Very nice. Are the edges of the tree ornaments made with beads?

No, they’re embroidered that way. I only added glass beads to the tree on the lantern; for that I used a glue applicator and matching rhinestones. I embroidered the tree ornaments with variegated embroidery thread, Ina, which is why it looks as if there were beads on them.

The gradient yarn all around creates a great effect! It’s just right in that spot.

I wouldn’t really want to have to attach such tiny beads with a glue soldering iron; that’s definitely very fiddly work. Last night I saw a segment on TV where tiny beads were sewn onto leather items in patterns and ornaments. What an art form, I tell you. But our art is admirable too! Just look at all the little works of art we create that bring joy to us and others.
