Pattern for Baby Jogging Pants in 2 Sizes

Hello, I have a question about the pattern mentioned in the subject line:
After the shortened rows, I have 112 stitches on the needle. After 13 cm, I’m supposed to decrease 12 stitches evenly spaced to end up with 110 stitches. But if I decrease 12 stitches from my 112 stitches, I’ll only have 100 stitches left. But the distribution of stitches for the pull-through holes is based on 110 stitches. How does this work?
I’d really love to be able to finish these pants correctly.
