Garment bags, garment covers, shoe bags, and laundry bags: how do you handle them?

Dear users, dear authors,
How do you handle garment bags, garment covers, shoe bags, and laundry bags / laundry sacks etc.? Do you make or sew these yourself?

I have some store-bought garment bags for storing coats and jackets in the basement. But since they were pretty cheap back then, the quality is what you’d expect, and they need to be replaced.

I’ve always used fabric bags for shoes. That’s where I put my shoes when I go on a trip. I’ve also sewn laundry bags to collect dirty laundry separately while on vacation. 

When I sewed them many years ago, I didn’t pay much attention to how they looked—I just needed to get them done quickly. Someday I’ll replace them, because I once found an idea online where a garment bag was hung over a hanger, decorated with lace and trim. I’d really like that.

Since I’ve been in the hospital and then in rehab quite often, I embroidered and sewed shoe and laundry bags for myself, and even designed and digitized both motifs myself.
