What knitting pattern is this?

I’d like to knit something again after a long time and was thinking of a warm jacket with some texture.

Does anyone know exactly what this knitting pattern is (you can zoom in on the photo for a better view)?

It’s the cardigan that Marilyn Monroe wears in a series of beach photos. As far as I can remember, those were the last photos taken of her. It’s a beige cardigan with a colored patterned insert. If you search for “Marilyn Monroe beach photos cardigan” in Google Images, you’ll find pictures of it. Most of them, however, don’t show the stitch pattern repeat clearly enough.
Apparently, this cardigan is frequently searched for and knitted as a replica.

I figured it out…or at least I think I did…
