While looking for some photos, I went through my archive and found a few funny/quirky things.

The photo is old, too, but your funny post reminded me of it.

That’s really interesting—the kinds of pictures you’ve found there. Unfortunately, I don’t have anything to show in that regard, but I’ll be happy to see what else gets posted here.

Here’s the proof :-) ;-) And the stork really does bring the babies :-)))) It stands by the oak trees in our wildlife park, and the kids are always amazed when Grandma says, “Look, there it is—the one that brings the babies!” :-)

This sign is in Wellington Harbor, right next to a tower from which the very brave are allowed to jump into the harbor water. 



This fence decoration was started to raise awareness for the “Breast Cancer Foundation.” Any woman, whether a local or a tourist, can hang her bra there. Some have even left a dedication.

There’s a fried egg floating in the water...

In Stade, the quay walls of the Old Harbor have been embellished with Tetsche cartoons. It’s the only open-air comic exhibition in all of Germany. There are some great pieces there.

We even had a cute little potato grow on our compost pile once, Inge.

Great selfie of your husband, Sonja. There was once a bra parade in Cuxhaven during protests to save the old fishing harbor. I didn’t understand, though, what bras hanging on the protest fence had to do with the fishing harbor.
Now I finally know what to do with that old microwave...

Those really are funny pictures.

Yeah, I have a few snapshots like that, too… for example, there was a youth group with an oversized canoe on the ferry to Vancouver Island with us.

 

Later in Victoria, there was a parade, and we found this “Easy Rider” on his bike especially funny.





Later in Port Angeles, we saw this very fashionably dressed gentleman.

  Is that what they call “a snail on a delicate lily”?

   “I’m not talking to you,” “Me neither”


  A “strange bird”

Marlies, our cat always liked to do that, too. In the end, we took down the birdhouse. After all, he should have to work a little harder for his prey. 

Oh, thank you so much—I’m laughing my head off right now at the Easy Rider and the two pouting meerkats :-) :-) :-)

Now for a snapshot of a special kind: A Nosferatu spider lives in my garage! I sent the picture to Nabu right away—these creatures are spreading northward pretty quickly, after all. And they’re really impressive; you definitely can’t miss a size like that.

I was at the clothing donation bin today, and behind it there is a meadow. My daughter called out: *Mom, look how everything is blooming here,* I pulled out my phone when I saw this splendor and took a snapshot of the beauty of spring
