Teddy Boat ;-)

About 2 years ago, my husband gave me these two cute Steiff teddy bears as a gift. For a while now I’d been thinking that the two of them needed something of their own; all this time they had been lying or sitting with me up by the headboard of my bed. :-) Now they have their own spot. I sewed the *boat* by hand and designed it myself, too.

So cute! My teddy bears would love that, too! Right now, three of our bears are enjoying a “hotel vacation” at our local library. The librarians always come up with such special ideas, and now, until the end of the school break, lots of “vacation teddy bears” are sitting on the shelves in the children’s section.

That’s so cute, Inge. I have that same bear, too, and I love him, just like all my teddy bears. Two of them sit in my bed, too. I hadn’t thought of a boat yet. That’s a great idea. They seem to really like it in there.

By the way, I think it’s great that we get to get to know you a little better through your profile picture now. :-)

I feel the same way as Monika—I love the idea of the “Teddyboat.” The two of them clearly feel right at home in it. I also like that your profile picture now shows you—it’s so much nicer and more personal that way. We always get to read so much from you, and now we have a picture to go with it. Great!
