Scissors case

with a pair of cutting scissors for my middle daughter, whose birthday is this month. She wants a good pair of scissors for cutting out her projects, so my hubby has now ordered her a pair of Fiskars like the ones in the case, but those are my scissors; the other pair is coming later this week. I embroidered two labels to go with them, so now she can label her stuff

I once sewed something like this for my grandson too, for his craft scissors and pens. I find it very practical.

How can you make sure the scissors don’t slip out the top?

You could add a tab with KamSnaps as a closure, but my daughter wants the case just the way I sewed it, because I asked her beforehand whether I should add something there. She doesn’t want it, so it’ll just stay like that. LG Inge

Oh, I see :-) Is the bottom of the case reinforced so the scissors don’t poke through?

Yes, it’s reinforced, so nothing will poke through. After all, I’ve sewn quite a few of these things, and nothing has ever poked through. The case is also pressed with fusible fleece, which reinforces it and keeps it in shape

Here’s one I’ve had for a while—it’s for my little craft scissors. I attached a strap at the top with a KamSnap, so the scissors stay in place but are also right at hand.
