Easter Weather

Hi everyone,
yesterday a storm rolled in, it rained buckets last night, and now we’ve got sleet, snow showers, and a storm. It’s freezing cold.
So we’re going to stay nice and cozy inside and enjoy our cheesecake later.

To put it in one sentence: freezing cold, enough to make you want to run away, uncomfortable icy wind, and now sleet and so on is supposed to come too—typical April

You poor things…
It won’t get really unpleasant here until tonight. Right now it’s still a bit sunny with a few clouds, and the temperatures are relatively pleasant. So it’s great for a walk.
The next 3 days will be perfect knitting weather. :)

Here, April is bringing us everything under the sun—from rain to snow to hail—then the sun peeks out for a moment, and it starts all over again. These temperatures would have been perfect for Christmas.

Here in Düsseldorf, it’s just as Petra described. The weather changes every 3–5 minutes—from sunshine to overcast skies to storms and sleet. My two cherry trees in the garden are about to bloom, and I hope they’ll make it through this.

Here in Northern Baden, the nice weather is over now, too.
Sometimes it rains briefly, sometimes the wind picks up—barely any sun and it’s chilly.

We’ve got snow flurries and strong winds here right now—just lousy weather :-)

 We have snow now, too 😞

For the past 3 days, I’ve been trying to keep the heat out of the greenhouse so the turtles wake up slowly, but now maybe I should put a heater in there 🤔.

Meanwhile, the snow is sticking around—yesterday we had coffee in the garden. Crazy April. 

April, April—it just can’t make up its mind.

We know these kinds of weather antics all too well here in the far north. It’s not much different here either. But... the snow is finally gone here. There’s still some further north.

If you’ve got enough wool at home, you don’t need to go out.
(That just occurred to me :-) )
