It looks the same here at the moment. We just took a long walk through the snow in the sunshine. Great weather.

We had ONLY a light dusting of powder, but before I had a chance to take a picture, the sun had already melted it all away—but now we’ve got plenty of wind. If it weren’t for that, we could enjoy the crisp air :)

They always say it snows in Franconia, but not in the Main/Wine Franconia area as I had assumed. It’s far too warm here, because by the time we finally see any snow, half of Germany is already buried in it :-)

Akela, even in Franconia, winter isn’t what it used to be. Here on Lake Constance, there’s even less of it, but I can see the Swiss mountains—there’s snow there.

Oh, Bergli, that’s already a lot! It’s been snowing nonstop here since last night, and I already shoveled a ton of snow this morning. It was so much fun. This is what it looked like this morning—but now it’s twice as deep.

So for me/us, 30 cm isn’t a lot. When it gets to a meter, then we’re talking about a lot. I live at 1,300 meters above sea level, so right up in the mountains—hence my name, Bergli...
Today the fog has cleared up a bit, but it’s still freezing cold...
