Campaign – Spring-2016: It starts on January 29, 2016

Our designers have come up with something special. This coming weekend marks the start of our big promotion:

Goodbye Winter—Hello Spring

From late January through late February, you’ll find patterns by our designers welcoming spring exclusively at Crazypatterns.

And the best part is, you can win a prize. All you have to do is download a pattern and make it. Then upload a photo of your finished project to the gallery at Crazypatterns. Voting takes place there via the “Like” button.

A little tip: If you want to win, let all your friends know so they can vote for your photos.

Once voting ends, the top 10 will each receive €10.00 in store credit. You can enter with as many patterns as you like. The only requirement is that they must be from the Spring-2016 campaign.

it’s the same for me. I already uploaded my patterns with the “Spring-2016” tag this morning so I wouldn’t forget. They’ve already been approved... BUT: in my shop, where all my patterns are listed, the campaign patterns aren’t visible yet. And they don’t show up when I enter the search term either—I think that’s how it’s supposed to be.

Or do they already appear among your patterns?

Alexander is only human and can make a mistake once in a while *laughs*

That’s not quite right. Today was specified as the posting date, but the *approval* wasn’t supposed to happen until tomorrow. Apparently, a mix-up occurred. Some people are benefiting from it, others aren’t.
Oh well. It’s the first campaign of this kind—so to speak, “teething problems.” Things will go more smoothly next time. ;-)

And here comes Hans Hoppel, the door guard! He guards balcony and patio doors when his humans let the spring breezes into the house :-)

I have to ask a silly question… the pictures shown here—are those the ones for Spring 2016?
So, your pictures for the pattern? I’m still pretty new here… sorry!!

I’m currently working on reducing the size of my pattern because it’s apparently too large to convert to a PDF… but I hope to upload it today…

@Wollness-Oase: That’s exactly why I’m writing. Your pattern doesn’t show up at all when I search for “Spring-2016.” What do you see when you search? And why are “old” patterns showing up at all when you enter the campaign search term?

Um, yeah… I took a closer look just now. When I click on the tag on my pattern page, it shows up, and there are actually far fewer patterns in total—and they’re all genuinely new.

If I enter the tag manually, 84 products actually appear—mine isn’t among them, but Natalja’s 3D crochet hearts are, for example, which can’t be new since I’ve already seen them in various newsletters.

The campaign was originally planned like this:

Designers create a new design, which then takes part in the campaign. If the tags for old patterns are simply changed so that they appear under “Spring 2016,” the whole competition no longer makes any sense. 

I always get these 84 patterns, no matter where or how I enter “spring-2016.”
But please continue the discussion in the authors’ forum.......

Here’s my third entry for the promotion:


I know the photos are awful, but this thing is really hard to photograph. It keeps spinning, and I have to step back to get the whole thing in the frame.
Maybe someone knows a better way to photograph it?
