Upcycling Corks

Dear users, dear authors,
what do you do with your corks? Are there any great upcycling ideas for corks?

Hey Josefa, I used to make a little bulletin board out of these wine corks with my kids.
Just cut the corks into thin slices and glue them onto a sturdy base. And just like that, you have a little bulletin board. Unfortunately, I don’t have a picture of it anymore.

We collect all our corks and drop them off at a collection point. From there, they’re sent on to workshops for processing.

I’m curious to see what suggestions and ideas are shared here. 

We once had some corks left over from a birthday party and turned them into stamps. We simply painted our designs on the underside and cut off the excess material. It worked great with acrylic paint!

I also made a bulletin board like the one described by Bastelfan with my kids. Plus, you can use them to make cute little cork figures and boats with the kids.
