Pajama pants...

Made from jersey scraps—I still had about 50 cm of that jersey with the little owls lying around, and I had the full width of the fabric. I went back and forth thinking about what to make with it, then took a dreamy look into my scrap box and saw what else was in there. Okay, I thought, I’ll lay them side by side to see if they fit together reasonably well. The pattern just barely matched up. ;-) I measured the width of the stripes to make sure the pants would fit well over the bottom and not pinch, cut everything out, set up the coverstitch machine, and sewed them together. The result was these pants—they’re wonderfully comfortable, I can tell you that—and besides, my grandma always said, “All cats are gray at night.” :-)

I’ve found that to be true so many times—the pants end up being so comfortable that I can’t even get out of them anymore ;) But on the other hand, it’s nice to have comfortable clothes.
