Knitting pillowcases: which yarn?

Hi, I'd like to knit some pillows—or rather, pillowcases. What kind of yarn should I use for that?

I would use either cotton pot-holder yarn or cotton yarn. Or undyed sheep’s wool—it’s not quite as soft, but it’s durable, so the pillows will stay nice for a long time.

You can choose the yarn in the store and knit your cushions. Soft yarn isn’t very durable. But the salespeople will give you the right advice.
