How was your July?

I’ll be wrapping up July with some winter yarn.

Right now, I’m knitting a collar with size 5.5 needles and a yardage of 85 m. You make pretty good progress with needles this thick.

The yarn has been sitting around for a very long time, waiting to be knitted. 

Oops... I forgot half of it. Yes, I was happy with July.

I finished a blanket and a triangular shawl. I’d already started both of them in June. And one collar is done—except for the loose ends—and the second one will definitely be finished this weekend.

So I’ve finished up some UFOs and used up some yarn that’s been sitting around for a while. 

I wrapped up July with a Persian Tile.

I’ve been crocheting (pretty) diligently on my CAL shawls and would like to start making little stuffed animals as baby gifts. 
I’m very happy with July: we enjoyed a wonderful hiking vacation in the mountains, and craft-wise I made (or finished) several pairs of socks, plus a few little crocheted items.

I’m also happy with July. I celebrated my 28th wedding anniversary and spent a lot of time enjoying the garden in beautiful weather.

I’m wrapping up the month today and tomorrow with a sweater for my 4-year-old granddaughter. That means my first Christmas gift is finished, too.
