Summer Hoodie

I based the pattern on a hoodie I sewed for my grandson’s birthday in February. I just left out the hood and added a collar, though I shortened it by about 3/4 of its width—I don’t like it when it flops around around my neck like that. The pouch is made from leftover cuff fabric—the color matched perfectly. I added 7/8 sleeves, and the hoodie is ready for me :-)
I should mention that I studied pattern drafting and women’s tailoring back in the day, which is why this kind of thing comes pretty easily to me. I’ve turned my profession into a hobby :-)

It’s nice when you can turn your job into a hobby. I dream of turning my hobby into a job. However, I’m a Cancer, and I don’t think I’ll ever take that leap.
