Help with my knitting pattern

HELLO, dear knitting community,

I’m currently having a problem with my short jacket with raglan sleeves and hope someone can help me.
For the back piece, the pattern says:

“Alternately bind off 2 sts every 2nd and 4th row 19 times, and alternately bind off 2 sts every 4th and 6th row 8 times.”

What does that mean: bind off in row 2 of the basic pattern, knit to the end of row 6, then start the basic pattern again in row 4 and knit the pattern to row 6, repeat that 19 times, and then do the same 8 times with rows 4 and 6...?

Or

In the basic pattern, bind off in rows 2 and 4, finish knitting the basic pattern to the end of row 6, and then repeat the whole thing 19 times?

I would do it like this:
On rows 2, 4, 6, 10, 12, 16, 18, 22, 24, 28, etc. until you have decreased 19 times .
Then decrease afterward on rows 4, 6, 10, 16, 20, 26, 30, 36. , = 8 times
