Fleece Hat Sewing Pattern

Hello, fellow seamstresses!

I’d like to sew a fleece hat for my son and embroider it.
It should be in a beanie shape—so nothing with ears or anything like that.
Unfortunately, I haven’t found a pattern for this. Can I use a pattern for a fabric hat instead, or won’t that work with fleece?
Maybe someone has—or knows of—a suitable pattern.

Hi Nici,

I sewed a fleece hat—lined with jersey on the inside—using a sewing pattern for a hat made of “regular” fabric. Why wouldn’t that work for fleece too? I’m still a beginner at sewing, but I think it turned out pretty well. I did find the sewing pattern online, though.
