Our Knitting and Crochet Tools

Many of us have great tools that make knitting and crocheting much easier. How about we share them with everyone else here?

I got the idea when I saw Ina’s yarn winder. This is the first time I’ve seen something like that here (despite years of experience). You can find the thread about it here:

What tools do you have that you’d like to share here? Feel free to show them to us with a (photo you took yourself!) and tell us how they help you.

I’ll go first.

When I need to pick up stitches on a sleeve or at the neck while knitting, I use a needle that’s a crochet hook on one end and a knitting needle on the other. This makes it easier to pick up the stitches and then simply slide them onto the knitting needle later.
