Knitting pattern for a cape

The pattern works up easily—it uses only knit and purl stitches. And with a thick yarn, you’ll be finished really quickly too. I chose Rowan "Softest Merino Wool" yarn, 100 g / 100 m yardage. The pattern is written in size S, but by adding rows and stitches, the cape can also be knitted larger.

The Arctica soul warmer is quick to knit, and because it is knitted sideways, the size can be easily adjusted while knitting.
you need about 200 g of sock-weight yarn, depending on the size.

The “Cool Temptation” poncho is a bit more complex to knit, as the initial lace pattern requires a lot of concentration, but it’s well worth the effort. With 300–400 g of yarn (approx. 400–450 m per 100 g), you’ll end up with a very elegant-looking piece.

With this poncho made from cozy, soft sock yarn, your shoulders and back will always stay nice and warm. Your arms stay free, and nothing feels constricting. The poncho fits in any bag, so it’s easy to take with you and have it quickly on hand when it gets chilly.

Easy to knit, also a great TV project.

This colorful children’s jacket made of soft merino wool is cozy and warm, very comfortable, and has everything kids need—a hood and pockets. It fits sizes 92–104 and is knitted top down in raglan style.

Even babies need a jacket—and here, the hat comes right along with it. The set is knitted from thicker sock yarn and features a pretty pattern that looks great from both sides. It fits ages 3–12 months.

If you enjoy crocheting top-down raglan, you'll love Uwagi :
The jacket is made with single crochet, double crochet, and puff stitches.
You decide the measurements of Uwagi .

For the sleeves, I split the last color of the gradient cake in half.
You can also use sleeve cakes or another suitable yarn.

The Eda Cape is beginner-friendly and can be made as large as you like.
It features a knit-purl pattern that can be worked almost as a side project.
