What do you still need to get done before Christmas? Are you satisfied with what you’ve accomplished in 2019?

how are your Christmas preparations going?
Were you able to accomplish everything you set out to do in 2019?

Yeah, everything’s pretty much done so far—the apartment’s mostly set up, too. My husband’s just still organizing his tools, but other than that, I can’t complain, because sometimes you just have to take things as they come; complaining about it won’t change anything anyway. Over the course of my life, I’ve learned to take a pragmatic view of certain things—otherwise, you really do end up losing your mind at some point.

I just have two more gifts to wrap. Tomorrow I’ll do some laundry, and on Saturday I’ll pack my bags for vacation.
On Sunday we’ll visit my Godi, and then we’ll head out for Garmisch that night.
