Leg warmers

Here are the leg warmers I knitted for myself; I hope they are okay like this.
I used thicker yarn that had to be knitted with a set of double-pointed needles size 4, and since I have thicker legs, that worked out pretty well for me.
I cast on 64 stitches, then knitted a 5 cm cuff in 1 knit, 1 purl.
Then 2 cm in stockinette stitch;
I knitted the pattern by alternating 4 knit stitches and 4 purl stitches, always for 2 rounds, then switching, repeating this 4 times.
Then another 2 cm in stockinette stitch, followed by the pattern from above, but this time I started with 4 purl stitches. I repeated this pattern 4 times as well.
Then I knitted 1 cm in stockinette stitch; the bottom cuff is only 3 cm high because, after binding off, I added one round of half double crochet—this makes the finish around the ankle softer and more snug for me. Now the leg warmer is finished. Have fun making your own
