I had to buy some more yarn. My daughters are each getting a glittery Glotzi crocheted for Christmas. Right now, I have way too much yarn again. Starting January 1, 2020, I’ll go back on a “yarn diet” and work through my existing stash.
I also have a few closet shelves full, plus baskets, and I’ll be starting to work through it all in January 2020. This time, I’m going to stick with it for at least the whole year.
To be honest, I don’t even want to count how much yarn there is. In any case, you can create so many beautiful things with it.
I’ve already used up a large amount of old yarn, but I had to buy some new yarn in the meantime because the colors or quantities of some of the old yarn weren’t enough. I couldn’t resist two bargain deals, but I’ve already planned out what to do with that yarn. I also received enough yarn for a scarf—enough to knit a sweater (800g!). I’ll mix the rest with other yarn I have and knit it into a sweater.
I hope I’ll be able to use up my “old stash” next year....
I have quite a bit of leftover yarn lying around, but it’s not all that much anymore, because I got rid of quite a few leftovers when I moved. Only good-quality yarn was allowed to move with me. But I bought some more yarn last week for one project or another.
