I’m really happy with August. The weather was great, and I got to spend a lot of time in the garden. Our raspberry harvest was also amazing!

My biggest goal right now is packing for vacation. On Wednesday, we’re hitting the road again in our camper. I’m really looking forward to it.

I met up with my friend again after more than a year.
We got some ice cream and took it to the Bad Homburg Kurpark.

The Palmengarten was also on the agenda again.

Since the end of August, I’ve been able to watch the sparrows being fed on my balcony again.

My August was packed with wonderful events like the Cranger Kirmes, the Waltroper Parkfest with lots of live music, a short trip to Celle, and a visit to the Südheide, where the flowers are currently in full bloom.
In between, I had enough time for a few creative projects and time for friends and family—so for me, August was truly wonderful!

I’m very happy with August. It’s technically a summer month, and I’d thought everyone would still be on vacation or that it would be too hot. But I think people are already in the mood for crafts again. And anyone who checks out what’s new on the market now will have a nice hobby to enjoy this fall. I’d love for things to keep going this way.

Now I’m looking forward to going on maternity leave starting September 18, and since we’ve already got everything organized, I’ll have time to just crochet :D It’s going to be a wonderful 6 weeks :)
