Hello,

I'm feeling a little dizzy today and have a headache, but
otherwise I'm doing well.

Here in Saarland it's nice and warm and sunny, and it's supposed to get
a little warmer every day.

For dinner today we're having pasta and broccoli casserole.

My crafting goal for this week is to finish the Easter baskets
and be able to start something new. It's about time.

But first, this evening I need to repot some seedlings.

Get well soon to everyone who's feeling under the weather
Today I sewed myself a tracksuit for my physical therapy and rehab, and the little nest for my youngest granddaughter (8) is finished too; it just needs to be filled. The *older* grandchildren are getting cash from me, since their wallets always seem to suffer from chronic shrinkage anyway.

The weather is fantastic—spring is finally here after what felt like an endless string of winter days.
Now it’s time to get back to the garden and the balcony.

After Easter, we’ll be taking our first road trip of the year in the RV. I’m already getting my knitting supplies ready for the trip.

Well, and today it’s time for spring cleaning and tidying up. We’re making room for new things (no, not for yarn this time). ;-)

I have a headache today, too—probably because the weather is changing. It was freezing just a moment ago, and now the temperatures are supposed to soar to dizzying heights again.
And with a headache, I’m not feeling inspired to cook, so we’re having fast food today.

Well, I’ve been doing really well today. I had the day off, enjoyed a leisurely and hearty breakfast, and did a little housework. It’s very sunny today and finally really warm. When the sun came out, I sat out on the patio—it was wonderful. I really soaked up the sun’s warmth; spring is finally in the air here, too. With a cup of cappuccino and my crochet supplies, I was able to really relax.
After this “winter depression,” you just need that.

Another crocheted doll (a commission for a coworker) still needs crocheted hair, which I’ll finish tomorrow and then have to sew on, so I can take the dolls with me on Wednesday (it’s supposed to be an Easter gift for her daughters).

Oh, and I’ve dyed the first Easter eggs, too.

Then I still need to finish a little beadwork project as a small Easter gift for our landlady. Willow catkins made of beads.
Over the next few days, I’ll finish a fruit tart for Easter, and tomorrow I’ll run out to buy a few little things. Then Easter can come with peace of mind—a completely relaxed time alone with my husband, no visitors. Maybe a little bike ride to the Drammenfjord, if the weather cooperates.

I live in beautiful Mettlach, near the Saarschleife—the landmark of Saarland—

I'm at the doctor's getting my infusion (every 8 weeks). That takes up the

entire morning. For Easter, I'll be serving my Saxon potato salad. I bought hair accessories for the grandchildren. Since they can't eat everything, I'm not buying any sweets this time.
