A cozy gift is always well received, especially when it's hand-knitted with lots of love. How about this pretty cuddle pillow for Mother's Day—or even Father's Day? It looks complicated, but it's very easy to knit if you can do slipped stitches.

These cute lucky ladybugs are sure to bring joy on Mother’s Day. Crocheted by yourself, they’re worth twice as much and are something very special when they hang in the kitchen and do their daily duty as oven mitts.

Very easy to crochet if you have a little crochet experience.

This little pouch for tissues belongs in every handbag. For mothers, it’s a lovely gift that gets used every day.

Easy to crochet; all you need is a few bits of leftover yarn in different colors. If you have some crochet experience, you’ll definitely be able to make it.

Of course, there is also a cover for the large tissue box—with decorations made of butterflies and hearts. It’s a real classic and can be used in many different ways. In different color combinations, for example, to match your décor.

Tip for the environmentally conscious: Instead of napkins, simply place this pretty box on the dining table. It’s always a hit with us, because then a tissue is quickly at hand, too.

This round collar is quick and easy to knit from a single ball of (leftover) cotton yarn. It’s sure to make a lovely gift for your mom, because the collar looks pretty and keeps her neck and nape nice and warm.

Even if you’re still a beginner but have some knitting experience, you’ll be able to do it just fine.

My husband came up with the idea of crocheting these earpads for his headphones, and he’s still very happy with them. They’re much more comfortable on the ears than the usual foam ones. That would make an ideal Father’s Day gift.

Very easy and quick to crochet if you know the basics and can crochet in the round.

If you’d like to knit something a little more elaborate for Dad, this vest with a classic cable pattern would be just the thing. The vest can be worn year-round, and its cut and pattern are absolutely timeless. The measurements in the pattern are for sizes 46–50.

Recommended for experienced knitters.

A pretty, roomy shopping bag for Mom, crocheted using the filet technique. The bag measures about 40 x 50 cm and also works great as a beach bag.
You’ll need:
  • 125 g of cotton yarn (approx. 125 m per 50 g, e.g., Catania by Schachenmayr or Basic Cotton by Pro Lana) in pink
  • 150 g of cotton yarn (yardage approx. 125 m/50 g, e.g., Catania by Schachenmayr or Basic Cotton by Pro Lana) in hot pink
  • 2.0 mm crochet hook
  • 1 yarn needle
The 11-page pattern explains the filet crochet technique in detail. The pattern is described step-by-step, round by round, but there is also a chart you can follow.

Yes, it’s true: you shouldn’t only think of Mom on Mother’s Day! But why not on this special day, too ? It doesn’t have to be a big gift, but Mom is sure to appreciate a small token of your appreciation.

With this small, lovingly crocheted heart, you’re sure to make your mom incredibly happy, because it shows her that you love her and are thinking of her. It measures about 11 x 11 cm and can also be used as a gift tag. It’s quick and easy to crochet, and all you need is a little leftover yarn.
So, what are you waiting for? Download the pattern here and get started right away!

Is Mom one of those people who’s always cold? Then she’ll surely love a microwavable heat pack in a pretty cover. It heats up in the microwave in just a few minutes and stays wonderfully warm for a long time.

The heart-shaped cover measures about 20 x 20 cm. The front features a bobble stitch pattern, while the back consists entirely of single crochet stitches. This allows you to control how much heat is released.
The popcorn stitch is explained in detail in the pattern. It’s very simple, and the increases and decreases are quite regular, so even beginners with a little crochet experience can easily make this pillow. It’s crocheted using cotton yarn (e.g., potholder yarn or Catania Grande).
You can find the pattern here!

This is just a small door wreath (12 cm in diameter) that you can crochet from some leftover yarn and that fits anywhere. The base is a small Styrofoam wreath that’s crocheted over with white cotton yarn. Then it’s decorated with little hearts, tiny roses, and pearls in shades of pink. Isn’t that a lovely little surprise for Mother’s Day? Click here for the pattern!

Is Dad a soccer fan? Then he’ll definitely love the soccer mascot Tooorsten!

You can crochet him in the colors of Germany, as shown in the picture, or in the colors of Dad’s favorite soccer club. Tooorsten isn’t hard to crochet. He’s essentially made up of hexagons and pentagons. The pattern explains in detail—with plenty of pictures—how to sew them together.
Click here for the pattern: Crochet Tooorsten!

Want a smaller mascot? Then crochet the little soccer panda keychain, Pauli.

Pauli can also be crocheted in Dad’s favorite club colors or in the colors of Germany. All you need is a few pieces of leftover yarn. Find the pattern here: Crochet Soccer Panda Pauli!

Mom is sure to love a few pretty decor ideas for the bathroom, too!

First up is the original cotton ball dispenser, Wolli the Bunny. The cotton balls are stored inside his belly, and you can easily fill him up through the zippered opening at his neck. To remove a cotton ball, simply pluck off his little tail (the cotton ball). A new one pops right out immediately. Isn’t that a cute idea?
Crochet Wolli to match the colors in your bathroom! You can find the pattern here: Wolli Cotton Ball Dispenser!

The blue tissue box cover featuring ocean waves, seashells, and crabs is an ideal and practical decorative element for any bathroom. It neatly hides those often unsightly cardboard boxes.
You can crochet the box in any size you like.
Here is the pattern: Crochet a Tissue Box Cover.

Crochet Pattern: Heart Pendant

What’s a must-have for Mother’s Day? A handmade heart—crocheted here with care and anticipation—and then given as a gift with lots of love. For example, you could secretly sprinkle it with your mom’s favorite perfume in the bathroom; then it would make the perfect scented pendant for her closet.

You only need a little material for the heart—you’re sure to find it in your scrap bin. Small effort, big impact ;-)

I hope you have lots of fun with this project—Yours, Ina

Knitted Wrist Warmers

Here’s another wonderful idea for Mother’s Day: hand-knitted wrist warmers. They’re very trendy right now and will always be a staple in spring and fall. They look really cool with a leather jacket and are very practical. You’ll always have just the right amount of dexterity for whatever you’re doing—and your hands will stay warm. You can also just wear them at home while using the computer when it’s a little chilly and you just want to pamper your hands a bit.

The knitting pattern is also suitable for beginners who already know how to knit with a set of double-pointed needles and want to try their hand at a cable pattern. I’ll explain and show you everything in detail. You’ll find more examples, information, and the pattern by clicking on the title.

I hope you enjoy this project—Ina

Felt Boots with Turn-Down Cuff

Now here’s something for the dads! Namely, beautiful, thick, warm felt boots. Anyone who has a pair can count themselves lucky. They’re ultra-comfortable, nothing pinches, and they don’t absorb odors. They feel wonderfully soft underfoot and keep your feet pleasantly warm. You can knit them in any size using my pattern. So you could make something practical not just for dads, but for the whole family and friends. The washing machine takes care of the felting process quite easily. The pattern explains how to do it all, from start to finish. Feel free to read through the 206 reviews. You’ll definitely want to give it a try yourself. But be careful—it’s a little addictive.

You’ll find more examples, information, and the pattern by clicking on the headline.

Have fun—Yours, Ina

If you’d like to give your mother homemade chocolates, then I have the perfect packaging for them here! This chocolate box has plenty of space on three levels for chocolates, but also for other small gifts such as collectibles, jewelry, and the like.

The box is made of photo cardstock and is approx. 19 x 12 x 22 cm in size. It is easy to craft, but because of the many individual parts, you need to work very precisely here.

This heart shawl

is a great gift for all moms who love to wear shawls.

It’s quick and easy to crochet and well-suited even for beginners—but you should know how to do double crochet.

Every mom can use this: a pretty cosmetic bag for makeup, jewelry, small items, etc., and a cute tissue pouch.

With this special stitch (crisscross double stitch), you can crochet in rounds without any offset, creating the ideal base for embroidery motifs.

A wonderful Mother’s Day gift.

Large beautiful shopping net / tote / beach bag in a value pack
- 2 designs and 2 handle options

These cool and modern bags are practical and useful -
whether for daily shopping, as a beach bag, an everyday companion or a shopper, these chic net bags are always eye-catching.

Of course, you can combine the designs and handle options as you like, so for example you can also make a bag with a heart design and long handles, or the bag with the word "Love" as a shopping net with short handles.

In my shop, you can also buy the patterns for the bags individually.

Moms always love snuggling up in fluffy-soft shawls. How about this beautiful summer shawl, for example?

It is crocheted from the side and is almost symmetrical.
The pattern is super easy to work. Since you crochet almost exclusively into chain spaces, it’s perfect to crochet on the side while chatting over coffee or watching TV. The pattern explains everything in detail, with step-by-step photos, text, and a crochet chart.

Very suitable for beginners.

Thanks to the lace pattern, the shawl is wonderfully airy and soft. It drapes beautifully and can be worn in many different ways. A true classic!

Here’s the pattern
