Hard-Working Little Elves: 12 Days Before Easter

Dear users, dear authors,
dear little helpers,
are you working hard?

Easter most likely won’t be happening for us this year, because my husband came home last weekend and told me he has to work on Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and then Easter Monday. I’ve already let everyone in the family know that they can’t count on spending Easter with us this year,

All the Easter gifts were finished on time and are ready to be sent off in a package. :)
We haven’t decided yet what we’ll do for Easter. If the weather’s nice, the garden will definitely be calling.

I’ve already got all my Easter stuff ready. We’re just having a few little things this year—the main thing is that the family is together. A week before that, we’re having a big party for my dad’s 70th, so Easter will be a bit more low-key. Hopefully we’ll have nice weather to sit outside—that’s important.

Other than that, I’ve been busy today; I’ve been diligently knitting away on my shawl so it’ll be finished soon.

I just have two more Easter baskets to finish.
Other than that, all the Easter preparations are done.
We’re having breakfast with friends on Easter Sunday, and then
we’re off to the summer toboggan run. We’ll have a barbecue in the evening.
On Easter Monday, we’re attending a birthday party.

When I read how you’ve already finished your Easter preparations, I get so jealous! I really wanted to finish knitting the little jacket for my grandson first, so I could give it to our son on Friday. But yesterday I had to rip out the entire raglan section because the stitches had slipped out of place twice while joining the individual pieces, and I hadn’t counted them again… So the jacket won’t be finished by the day after tomorrow, and the Easter decorations will have to wait even longer than planned. So frustrating!!!
