- Leftover-Best for the great fruit and vegetable models.
- Yarn Emperor/Empress for bravely sticking it out in March.
- Quarterly Empress for the yarn diet from January to March.
After your sensationally long yarn diet, which earned you, among other things, the title Inner-Slacker Tamer and many finished projects / lots of yarn used up, I could understand it if you wanted to buy yarn again. It would still be a pity, though, because you don’t often get the opportunity to honor someone with the title Super Yarn-Mountain Conqueror for two years without buying yarn (in your case then at the end of 2019 ).
Whatever you decide, your perseverance is very impressive.
- the title Busy Little Helper for your many finished March projects. Of course there are extra points for the great photos.
The title Busy Everyday-Life Little Helper for the many birthday cakes also belongs to you.

Congratulations on a successful March. :- )

Details on the leftover-yarn projects:

My hand puppets were made from leftover yarn, unraveled yarn, and neglected yarn.
They are Seppel, a wizard, a witch, a princess, and a grandmother.

My little bear rattles are also made from scraps, and I just finished another rattle:

Here comes my March

UFO King/Queen in March
[ x ] In March I finished a UFO (unfinished object = a handmade project that has been lying around for a while) and earned the title UFO King/Queen.
Details about the UFO / UFOs:

This tunic has been with me since last summer; every now and then I kept throwing it into a corner and ignoring it... until at some point I overcame my inner couch potato and finally finished it this month.

Yarn diet / Yarn Emperor/Empress / Inner-Couch-Potato Conqueror in March
[ x ] I did not buy any yarn in March and earned the title Yarn Empress for a whole month without buying yarn.

Well, it just didn’t happen...

Busy little brownie
[ x ] I was able to get a lot of handmade projects done in March.
Please write details about the projects or the number of projects here.

I crocheted this felted bag; it was a really quick project...
The yarn was a gift, a really wonderful one.

I turned an old, tattered book from the 80s that I had sorted out into a sculpture...

... and in the process forgot to wash out the brush. So I decorated the stiff brush too, with modeling paste and paint.

[ x ] I was also very busy in March beyond handmade projects / in everyday life.
Write details here, if you would like to share them.

I made beer liqueur and beer jam from my husband’s home-brewed beer... he then took it snowboarding with friends, and now they want more... must have been tasty. We kept the bottle and the jar here for ourselves.

Rescuer of the stubborn yarn / stubborn material, formerly called Rescuer of the Stepchild Yarn //
Rescuer of the Stepchild Material
[ x ] In March I used up old, unloved yarn and am therefore a rescuer of the stubborn yarn / yarn rescuer
Details:

I would describe the yarn for the tunic as stepchild yarn; it was just very smooth and slippery, and also very heavy... now it has finally been used up. I really liked it in the store, but as soon as I had started working with it, I cursed it... but now I really like the result a lot.

Ribbing Monster Conqueror in March
[ x ] In March I partially or completely frogged a UFO / a work in progress and then still finished it completely / made something beautiful / new from it. I am therefore a Ribbing Monster Conqueror.
Details:

For me, the tunic belongs here again... I had already crocheted a dress with a lace pattern from this yarn before, which then really stretched out because of the weight.... I did frog the dress back in the summer and started the tunic Mika, and now I have already finished it.... no idea whether that counts....

Learned something new in March
[ x ] In March I learned something new (e.g. a new technique / stitches etc.) and am therefore a winner. :- )
Details:

I tried my hand at planned pooling crochet... you have to concentrate very hard while doing it so that the pattern forms... I like the result, but not the way of crocheting. That one gifted skein may become the new stepchild yarn... unless I come up with another idea for what I can do with just that single skein.

I had often looked at these self-glued albums (keyword scrapbook...) and found them fascinating; now I have made my first ones myself and played around with the different bindings... quite a lot of work, but also a lot of fun.

Start of spring / garden season
[ x ] On cool days / evenings I wrapped myself in a cozy blanket for crafting or kept warm some other way, but I had loads of fun doing it.
Details:

The cozy blanket was still a very pleasant companion here at times.

[ x ] I have also made preparations beyond handmade projects for Easter / spring / Pentecost / summer.
Details:

I decorated lots and lots of Easter eggs; some of them will stay here and some will be given away. I’ll still sow cress in the cracked-open eggs; it’s still too early for that now... I made the owls from air-drying modeling clay. To be honest, I can’t stand the sight of egg dishes anymore....

[ x ] I made use of the sunny days and had fun in the garden / in the park / on the balcony, etc.
Details:

The first spring flowers have moved onto our balcony, and on our walks we admired the wonderful magnolia blossoms in the park.

I also spotted seeds from the original Tabasco chili that we brought back from vacation after the factory tour - in the picture with the beer liqueur. I’m excited....

My fingers are really itching already. Since I’d like to crochet myself a vest, I would need new yarn for it. But actually I still have soooooooooooooooooo much yarn, just unfortunately not enough of one color or quality for a vest. We’ll see what I do. I’ll keep you posted.

Best wishes, Heike

or kept myself warm some other way, but I had
lots of fun doing it.
Details: I always enjoy doing that, even in summer when it's cool!
[x ] I also made preparations for Easter / spring / Pentecost / summer beyond crafting.
Details: I started decorating the living room and hallway for spring.
[x ] I used the sunny days and had fun in the garden / park / on the balcony, etc.
Details: At the weekend, I was able to crochet outside on the balcony for the first time.

Best of Leftovers in March
[x ] In March I used up lots of pretty, colorful leftover yarn / emptied my leftovers basket and earned the title Best of Leftovers for it.
Details about the leftover yarn projects:
I crocheted around the jar for my sister-in-law and the 6 jars for the camper van with leftovers.
I also knitted the doll clothes with leftover balls of yarn.

Yarn Diet / Yarn Empress / in March

I’m applying for the title of Shopping Queen.

Shopping Queen / King:
This title is for anyone who loves buying yarn or materials and
(for now) doesn’t want to go on a “yarn diet.” Photos are always a good
idea.
[ ] In March, I only bought yarn that I urgently needed.
Details:
[ ] I significantly stocked up my supply for Easter / spring / Pentecost / summer, etc., and had fun doing it. :- )
Details:
[ x ] I bought a great yarn cake, beautiful gradient yarn, fancy yarn, or
some other wonderful yarn, and I’m really enjoying it.

The third point applies to me.

I can’t keep up with the leftover-yarn champions. Although my embroidery picture was made from leftovers, I used so little that at best I’d only rank eleventh.
But I’d love to apply for the title of Spring Queen. I’m outside every day and have already made wild garlic pesto several times—and eaten it all up. For that reason, I unfortunately can’t take a picture of it. But I can show you the ingredients.

I’ve gone through everything once.
Who’s still missing?
What did I forget?

UFO King/Queen in March

Finished knitting a dishcloth that I started in February.

Best of the Leftovers in March

From leftovers, I made 9 mini Easter baskets, 3 little bunnies, and 2 decorative flowers, as well as the clothes for Magnus Garden Mouse and Hannes Bunny.

Shopping Queen / King:

A few skeins of Catania were newly added to my stash.

Sock Queen / Sock King

In March, the second sock for my husband was finished, too.

Busy Little Helper

In March I completed 23 projects:

in addition to the Easter baskets, bunnies, and flowers already mentioned, I made:
Hannes Bunny (photo to follow)
Doll baby set (Schlüttli, little pants, little hat, and little shoes) photo shown.
3 “Bunny” dishcloths (photo shown)
1 “Violets” birthday card embroidered

Rescuer of the unruly yarn / unruly material, formerly called Rescuer of Neglected Yarn //
Rescuer of Neglected Material

The doll clothes were made from loooong-neglected yarn.

Tamer of the Frogging Monster in March

I frogged the doll Schlüttli and knitted it again (photo to follow)

Learned Something New in March

With the doll Schlüttli, I knitted my first RVO and learned the knitted cast-on.

@Josefa
Thanks for the great awards ceremony! The “Paving Stone Queen” really made me laugh out loud.
My shoulder is feeling better again; yesterday I knitted a little something in several stages, which went pretty well, but I didn’t continue after that—that would have been too much.

You have to honor people in whatever way the situation calls for. :-)
It’s great that you’re slowly getting back to crafting.
