Bunny Purzel put a lot of effort into painting eggs and is already really looking forward to the Easter celebration, when he can hide his works of art.
Purzel is about 30 cm tall and wears blue dungarees with little pink hearts. The pants are crocheted on and cannot be put on or taken off. Purzel's fur is crocheted with fluffy yarn so that he turns out nice and cuddly and plush. That's why the pattern also includes lots of tips on the best way to crochet with this yarn. But of course you can also crochet Purzel with "regular" yarn of a similar thickness if you prefer. For the pants, the basket, and the eggs, I used cotton (Catania).

These little bunny and chick are just right for hiding small surprises or giving a money gift! You’ll have lots of fun
with them:
  • First of all, even before you start, because you’ll need an empty capsule from a Kinder Surprise egg for each one. So first sit
down and enjoy your chocolate egg.
  • Next, it’s time to crochet. It’s quick and easy. You can use fluffy yarn (as shown in
the pictures), then the animals will turn out nice and plushy. But you
can also crochet them with cotton yarn, though they will turn out a bit smaller:
  • And finally, you’ll have lots more fun when you see how happy the recipient is about the surprise.
So much fun with just a few leftover yarn scraps!

So get started and grab the pattern right here!

Easter without a cute little bunny in the basket? That just won't do.

For this pattern, the body is crocheted in two parts and then crocheted together with single crochet stitches. The only thing you need to sew on with a needle and thread is the tail.

Depending on the hook size and yarn length, the bunny will be 25–28 cm tall.  In addition to about 80 grams of yarn, you'll also need stuffing.

You can find the pattern here

Round Easter Baskets

Pretty Easter baskets for little surprises are always part of Easter. The bright colors and cheerful bobbles make crocheting a joy. You can fill them with sweet
treats or small surprises. The baskets have a sturdy base and a shape-retaining handle—nothing sags or stretches out. At 17 cm high and 15 cm in diameter, the size is ideal for an Easter nest or as pretty decor for a child’s room.

You can find more pictures, information, and the pattern by clicking on the heading.

I hope you have lots of fun with this crochet project.
Best wishes, Ina

How about using up some leftover yarn for a small Easter basket? It’s quick and easy. We’ll crochet with multiple strands of yarn, so we’ll be done in no time. The basket will keep its shape nicely because we’ll incorporate a sisal thread.

The free pattern is here: Easter Basket

I hope you enjoy it too – Ina

My photo shows only one apple in the little basket, but of course you could also fill it with Easter sweets. You can crochet the round little basket in any size you like. The base is doubly reinforced so it won’t sag. The pretty pattern and the small handles look especially lovely. Feel free to take a look at my other examples.

Here is the pattern for the Round Basket with Mesh Pattern.

I hope you have lots of fun with this project - Yours, Ina

Colorful Easter Eggs

Colorful Easter eggs—that’s something small and lovely for Easter. The simple Bruges lace crochet technique creates beautiful
spring freshness. An excellent window/door decoration for Easter or
also as a small gift!

The Easter egg measures approx. 7 x 9 cm plus a loop of approx. 7 cm. Only a little thread is needed to make one Easter egg,
so these can be crocheted from leftover thread. An ideal way to use up leftover thread!

Crocheted oval basket for flowers or perfect as an Easter basket. You can use any yarn; I prefer to crochet with yarn that has a high cotton content. The pattern is described in detail, so even advanced beginners will have no trouble following along. You should know how to crochet double crochets, chain stitches, and single crochets.

A little lamb is a super sweet Easter gift for a baby or toddler! You can also add a music box mechanism to it, and it will become an indispensable helper for falling asleep. The lamb in the picture was crocheted with fluffy yarn (teddy yarn), which is why it’s so beautifully plush. In the pattern, you’ll get lots of tips on how to do it. But of course you can also work with a different yarn if you prefer. If you brush the little sheep at the end with a firm brush, it will also become fluffy.Only single crochet stitches are used; so the pattern can be rated as easy.

Ladybugs in an Easter nest — now that would be a lovely gift idea. Here they don’t come as the living version, but as useful helpers in the kitchen, and as a two-pack.

A very nice beginner project. Basic skills are required.

New arrival: Little Bunny "Hoppel"

Hoppel is not only simply adorable and easy to crochet, but thanks to his backpack he can also be used as an original gift packaging for sweets or cash gifts.

For the material, I used "Baby Soft" by Zeeman (yardage 199 m / 50 g) and a 3 mm crochet hook - but any other yarn with a suitable hook size will work too.

With the specified material, he will be approx. 17 cm tall.

The pattern is richly illustrated and also suitable for beginners, as long as the basic stitches are known.

Have fun crocheting him!

The pattern is illustrated and includes crochet charts to make the appliqués easier to understand.

Easter without an Easter lamb is simply unthinkable...…...

Why not make an "Easter-themed" dishcloth as a small hostess gift for an Easter invitation?

The knitting pattern is described in detail, and there is also a chart to follow. One skein of cotton yarn is enough for one dishcloth.

Here you can find the pattern for the dishcloth

These little bunnies with their heart- or flower-shaped tails are so cute.

You can use them to decorate your Easter branches, door wreath, windows, napkin rings, etc., or make a mobile or garland out of them. These adorable little bunnies are also eye-catchers as bag charms, keychains, or appliqués on a little child’s bag.

They’re crocheted in one go, work up super quickly, and all you need is a few bits of leftover yarn. Suitable for beginners.

Little Sheep Egg Cozy Crochet Pattern
Click here for the crochet pattern

What you’ll need:
  • approx. 15g of yarn (it’s best to use 100% cotton yarn, which makes the egg cozies nice and sturdy. Of course, you can also use any other yarn) in white or brown, suitable for a 3mm crochet hook. Leftover yarn in green.
  • A darning needle and scissors
  • Some stuffing for the head
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Googly eyes and superglue
To give the little sheep a better fleece look, I crochet with “bobbles.” I explain this technique at the beginning of the pattern and illustrate it with pictures, so you’ll understand it very quickly ;-). All the remaining steps are also illustrated and explained with plenty of pictures. Difficulty level: medium—you should already have some crochet experience ;-) and shouldn’t choose these little sheep as your very first crochet project.

An Easter egg holder for the whole family! And if you’re expecting a few guests for Easter brunch, you can make several holders at once and line them up side by side along the entire length of the table.

The holder is made of photo cardstock and measures approximately 42 x 6 x 6.2 cm. It consists of very simple, box-shaped parts and is therefore very easy to make.

The motifs in this cute decorative garland can be combined in any order. You can also crochet a garland using only hearts or only flowers, for example.

You can use this decorative garland with bunnies, hearts, and/or flowers for many purposes,
for example as a table decoration, window decoration, decoration for your Easter branches or door wreath, garland, necklace, etc.

The garland is crocheted in one go, works up super fast, and all you need is a little leftover yarn.

Chickens are simply part of Easter...

Josefine is perfect for prettily wrapping gifts like dyed eggs, chocolate eggs, or other little treats.

Afterward, she can also be reused, for example as a fun little cosmetics bag, for storing charging cables, or even as a little handbag for young ladies.

Here you can find the crochet pattern for the little chicken bag.

animal-themed egg cups for Easter
in small or large

-- to the pattern (large) --
-- to the pattern (small) --

The egg cups are colorful decorations for your breakfast table.

As always, the patterns are richly illustrated and describe step by step how you can crochet these little baskets yourself, even as a beginner . Only basic crochet skills are needed.

The large basket fits the maxi chocolate eggs from a well-known manufacturer; the small one is an egg cup for the smaller version or for regular chicken eggs.

For the large basket you need approx. 75g cotton yarn, for the small one approx. 30g - e.g. Gründl Cotton Fun (yardage 115m/50g).

Wolli the Bunny isn’t just cute—he’s also an extremely useful Easter gift: When he sticks his bottom out toward you, he wants you to tug on his little tail, because then he’ll give you a fluffy cotton ball! Crochet him in a color that matches your bathroom, and you’ll have a decorative cotton ball dispenser!

Here’s what you’ll need:
  • 100 g of cotton yarn, 63 m/50 g (e.g., Catania Grande), shown here in mint
  • 3.0 mm crochet hook
  • Stuffing
  • 1 pair of safety eyes, approx. 12 mm in diameter
  • 1 12-cm zipper
  • 1 thick yarn needle for weaving in ends and sewing the pieces together
  • 1 pointed sewing needle
  • Sewing thread
  • Pink embroidery floss
  • thick thread for the whiskers
AND HERE IS THE PATTERN!
