Uploading Images to the Forum
1. Why images are important
Photos bring your post to life, illustrate questions, and help the community understand your issue more quickly. A clearly visible image saves time when responding and increases your chances of receiving helpful feedback.
2. Upload images – step by step (Desktop)
- Log in & open post
Log in and navigate to the forum. Choose either “+ New” or “Reply” in an existing thread. - Place cursor
Click in the text field where you want your image to appear. - Click image icon
In the editor’s toolbar, you’ll find a small landscape icon (mountains + sun) – the “Insert image” function. - Select or drag file
Click Select file or drag your image directly into the field. Allowed formats: JPG, PNG, GIF up to 5 MB. - Check & post
Review the preview, adjust the position if needed, and click Add comment.
3. Upload images – step by step (Smartphone / Tablet)
- Open forum
Log in and open the forum via the three-line menu. - Open text field
Tap the plus sign to start a new post, or tap Reply in an existing thread. - Select image icon
Tap the landscape icon. - Grant permission
Allow the browser to access your photos or camera if prompted. - Select image or take photo
Take a new photo or select one from your gallery. - Insert & done
Tap Done – your image will be inserted and automatically scaled.
4. Tips for optimal display
- Resolution: 1000 × 1000 px is completely sufficient – larger images are automatically scaled.
- File size: Under 2 MB uploads faster.
- Orientation: Rotate the photo before uploading and save the change to ensure it displays correctly.
