Woolly Wednesday: Indulge in Wool

Dear users, dear authors,
you asked for this thread so you could indulge in wool, wool stash, leftover yarn, and, of course, wool shopping—so here you go: Have fun with it.

Even those on a “wool diet” are welcome to join in here. :-)

The photo isn’t anything special—it’s more for my own use.



Two new skeins of sock yarn have found their way into my stash. They’re actually black and red. I don’t know yet what I’ll make with them, but it’s always good to have plenty of supplies at home.

Indulging in yarn....
Since I have so much yarn, I imposed a “buying ban” on myself last year. No new yarn until my stash decreases. And if I absolutely need a specific type of yarn, I won’t buy more than I’ve used up so far. 

But I can still indulge in yarn just fine, because I regularly rearrange my yarn and keep sorting it anew—sometimes by color, sometimes by quantity. Then I’ll attach little notes to the yarn suggesting what it could become. That way, I keep finding new yarn in some closet that I didn’t even know I still had.
