The ladies among your friends who feel the cold will surely love this pretty heart-shaped heat pillow. Inside is a grain or cherry pit pillow that can be heated in the microwave or oven.

The front of the cover is crocheted in a popcorn stitch (which is explained in detail with pictures in the pattern), and the back consists of single crochet stitches. This way, you can control just how much heat you get.

The pillow is crocheted from pink potholder yarn. You’ll need about 100 g. Although the potholder yarn is heat-resistant, the cover should not go into the oven or microwave with it, to prevent discoloration.

The “Seabed” cable-pattern scarf is just the right accessory for women of all ages.

The scarf combines cable patterns with a lace pattern in a clever way, yet is still easy to knit!
The pattern is explained in writing (row by row), and as an extra for beginners, I’ve included a photo tutorial for the cabling.

This short poncho made from sock yarn is cozy and warm around the shoulders and a perfect alternative to a shawl. I like to slip it on when I’m sitting on the couch in the evening or on other occasions too. Your hands are free, nothing hangs down or gets in the way, and it’s quick to put on and take off.

A very pretty and easy-to-knit gift for women.

Suitable for beginners with some knitting experience.

The pads are very comfortable to use because they come with a loop. They’re also eco-friendly, as they can be washed hygienically at 60 degrees in the laundry net.

A nice little gift is this exfoliating sponge made from Rico’s Creative Bubble sponge yarn. (If you want the gift to be a bit bigger, you can give it together with an exfoliating lotion and a spa gift certificate!)  The ladybug works up quickly and is said to bring the recipient good luck. It can be easily washed in the washing machine at 60° and stays hygienically clean.

Why not a small triangular shawl to spruce up your everyday wardrobe.

For this small triangular shawl, I used just one ball with a yardage of 280 m / 50 grams. Loosely draped over the shoulder or with a gentle swing, this pattern is knitted with gradient yarn and is an absolute eye-catcher.

You should know how to knit stitches, purl stitches, yarn over, and knit stitches together. The pattern is explained in writing row by row. If you prefer working from a knitting chart, you’ll also find one in my pattern.

Get the pattern quickly, and the shawl will still be finished by Christmas.

Most women love sweets, especially when those sweets are homemade chocolates. Unfortunately, I can’t help you make the chocolates, but I can help you wrap them beautifully!

This chocolate box is made from photo cardstock, measures approximately 17 x 4 x 16 cm, and is designed with interior compartments for chocolates approximately 3 cm in diameter. Without the interior compartments, it can also hold chocolates up to 4 cm in diameter. The box isn’t difficult to make, but you should already have some crafting experience.

These cool and modern bags can be used for many occasions—whether for your everyday shopping, as a beach bag, as a daily companion, or as a shopper, these chic mesh bags are always eye-catching.

You can of course mix and match the motifs and strap options, e.g. make a bag with a heart motif and long straps, or the bag with the word "Love" as a shopping net with short handles.

With the "Chevron" crochet pattern, you can crochet yourself a stylish poncho. The technique used is called "Interlocking Crochet".

What looks extremely impressive is actually very simple in principle, because only 2 rows are repeated throughout. Using several colors creates the effect that is guaranteed to be an eye-catcher. The poncho consists of 2 equal-sized rectangles that are crocheted together. A stylish collar rounds off the design beautifully.

Materials needed:
  • approx. 2000 meters of yarn (e.g. LanaGrossa 365 Cashmere) in 2 different colors, with a ratio of approx. 60% : 40% (main color, contrast color)
  • Crochet hook at least one full size larger than recommended for the yarn used, plus one full hook size smaller for the collar
  • 2–3 stitch markers
  • Tape measure
  • Scissors
  • Sewing needle
Skills needed:
  • Foundation single crochet
  • single crochet
  • chain stitches
  • double crochet
  • front and back post double crochet
  • back post single crochet
  • treble crochet
  • crochet treble crochets together
The crochet pattern is 20 pages long and includes:
  • schematic drawings
  • A photo tutorial consisting of 62 images
  • Written instructions
  • Detailed and professionally created crochet charts

Cape Eda is made primarily with knit and purl stitches.
So beginners can easily knit this shawl.

For the measurements 140 cm wide and 47 cm high, you will need approx. 150 g of 4-ply Bobbel yarn (50% cotton, 50% acrylic - 570 m length / 150 g), knitting needles in size 3 - 4, scissors, and a yarn needle for weaving in ends.

The cape can be worn with either the right or wrong side facing out.

The PDF file consists of 4 pages.

Women love bags.....
At least most women do.

This one is crocheted and then felted in the washing machine.
It’s very easy—you just shouldn’t be shocked by how big the finished bag is before felting.
If you can crochet, you can do felted crochet too.

The pattern for this (and other) crocheted felted bags is available here:

If you're running late again and need something quick...

How about crocheted jewelry?

You often already have the few materials you need at home and can start working right away.

Theresa is quick and easy to crochet, and in different colors it always has a completely different look.

You can find the pattern for Theresa (and a few other pieces of jewelry) here: https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/29757/halsreif-theresa-haekelanleitung

The woman receiving this gift will still enjoy it after Christmas: nestled in the snowflake, a tea light that is usually rather plain looks very decorative and elegant.

This tea light holder is made of photo cardstock and measures approx. 13 x 1.8 x 11 cm. With a bit of crafting experience and a little artistic talent, it is very easy to make.

Click here for the knitting pattern for the Nuvol Cowl

The Nuvol Cowl is knitted from a Bobbel Woolly Hugs Cloud skein and makes a great Christmas gift. The yarn is incredibly fluffy, and thanks to its thickness, you can finish this project even on a cozy winter evening. The pattern is text-based but includes photos to explain the special stitches.

Felted boots with a roll-down cuff

For all women, hand-knitted felted boots are always a popular gift. I, for one, am always being asked to make some in favorite colors for this person or that. By now I've gone through almost every color. And yet every pair is unique again and again thanks to the roll-down cuff in a different color.

Felted boots are ideal for anyone whose feet get cold quickly. Felted wool provides ideal warmth and balances temperature. You don't sweat in them, and your feet won't get hot. Excess heat is simply released outward through the felt fibers. The thick felt is nicely soft, so your step is pleasantly cushioned too.

If you want to upgrade the felted shoes, sew leather soles underneath. You can buy these or DIY them. How to do it is described in this pattern: DIY leather soles.

The felted boots are knitted; the washing machine takes care of the felting. With my pattern, you can make felted boots in all sizes. Men are happy to receive them too, by the way ;-)

I hope you have lots of fun with this project - Yours, Ina
