Gauge swatch for sneakers

Hi,

I'll quote from the item description:

Based on the reviews, I made a gauge swatch. The shoes are crocheted tightly; that's exactly what makes them so durable. I can't rewrite the sizes; I've crocheted them myself several times and the sizes fit. I also receive photos of successful finished projects from many customers. With 12 double crochets, I reach a length of approx. 5 cm. 5 rows make a height of approx. 4 cm.Please crochet a gauge swatch beforehand to check this. If your result turns out larger, I recommend a smaller hook size, e.g. 2.0 mm. This is important, because if you crochet too loosely, the shoes will be too big. With a smaller hook, you automatically crochet more tightly.


So you should crochet 5 rows with 12 double crochets each, and this piece should then measure 4x5 cm

If you differ greatly from the measurement, for example if the piece is larger, you should use a smaller crochet hook; if your crocheted piece is smaller, you should use a larger one :)
