Crocheting Baby Shoes

Good morning! I just discovered this lovely page with a pattern for baby shoes, since I’m looking for materials to learn how to crochet. I found this pattern for baby shoes and have a question about it: can I use it to get started in the world of crochet? I preferred to knit them, but I don’t need any more right now.
