Downloading Files

Hi everyone,
I’m new here and have a question for you.
I do everything on my iPad. How does that work?
Can I download all the patterns for the iPad? Or are only some of them available?
I see “eBook” listed for some patterns and “PDF” for others. I can’t open PDF files on my iPad.

Hi Tina,
Welcome to our forum and the crazypatterns portal.
All the patterns here are PDFs, even if they’re labeled “e-book.” All PDFs are zipped to reduce their file size. If you can’t unzip them—which you normally have to do before opening them—you can also open them directly online without unzipping them.
I’ll show you how using one of the free patterns here, but this also works for the paid ones.

You might also need this app if you haven’t installed it yet.

You just need to install these programs once, but once they’re all set up, you won’t need to reinstall them for every pattern.
If you have a PC or laptop handy, you can of course use it to download the patterns as well.
