DIY: Making a Wool Lantern with a Ball and Glue

Check this out—look at all the things you can do with yarn, and you don’t even need to know how to crochet or knit. The video is in English, but I think it’ll be clear what she’s doing and why as you watch.
So, she just dips the yarn in glue and then wraps it around an old ball, leaving two openings, and once it’s all dried, she lets the air out of the ball.
I thought it was cute how she made a sort of apron out of a plastic bag :)
Who among you likes this kind of thing or has maybe even tried it before?

Take a look, muetzekatze, I once wrote a blog post about making something very similar—eggs (for Easter) using water balloons.
I think simple things like this that anyone can do without being a great crafting artist are really wonderful, too. If all you need is everyday supplies and the kids have lots of fun with it as well, that's just great.
