Summer is coming!

I think we’re having a wonderful spring, despite the occasional cold day.
Summer is coming, and I’m really looking forward to the beach, barbecue nights, and vacation.
Are you just as creative on vacation as you are in everyday life? Or do you take a break from it too?

Crafting is like a little vacation in itself. :-)

Every now and then, I take a few days off to clear my head and come up with new ideas. But after three days at the latest, I pick up my needle again

Crafts—anytime, any season.
Winter starts as early as fall, with cozy sweaters and jackets paired with matching cowls and hats (I have to have at least three new pieces per season :-))
And, of course, socks for everyone by Christmas.
By Easter at the latest, I’ll be crocheting more—for summer, it’s just so nice and quick to crochet new, airy tops.
My home always benefits from it in the summer, too—that’s when I make new placemats, doilies, or curtains.
Right now, my living room is getting new curtains...

I can’t go long without being creative either. For me, crafts are part of my free time and usually a way to relax—when I’m not working under time pressure, which does happen every now and then. But even then, I’d never want to trade that time pressure for another kind :)

Wow, you really are hardworking, from the sound of it! I think it’s great that you have a real annual plan that you follow.

I can’t do without it—
I like to bring crochet doilies or something to embroider with on vacation.
