Beautiful sunny days—heading outside with your craft project?

Do you enjoy doing that?

I absolutely love it—I did just that today!

When the weather’s nice, I crochet and knit on our patio. I turn on the radio and sometimes have a glass of wine. It’s like being on vacation.

Going outside and doing crafts is nice, but so is going outside, lying down, and falling asleep. ;-)

I don’t crochet outside—I have to take care of the garden and the lawn.

I’d love a few more degrees of warmth
in addition to the sunshine. If anyone has good connections with the weather god and can
do something about it, that would be really great.

I always have my crochet project with me—at the playground, when the kids are riding, and even in the garden! I bought a great bag where I can conveniently store all my supplies, so I’m always well-prepared! :)

I don’t have to go far—I have a balcony.
When I go into town and to the park, I don’t take anything with me.

For me, too, it’s the balcony that I often use for handicrafts and relaxing when the sun is out.

I’d love to have a balcony! But the Leine (the river, that is) isn’t far from where I live, so it’s also a great place to sit :)

Unfortunately, I didn't have time today to sit outside and crochet, even though the weather was really nice.

I find knitting and crocheting outdoors even nicer than indoors.
My child is happy because they’re allowed to play in the sand, and with a cozy bench next to them and a cup of coffee, that’s everyday relaxation for me.

Although a lot of people say that when it gets too warm, they can’t knit or crochet because their hands get damp and the yarn starts to drag.
How is it for you?
 

Good morning! I always crochet and knit outside on the patio, and it’s never too warm.

My mother and I sit outside with our husbands for coffee; we chat, and we women do our needlework at the same time. My mother knits, and I crochet filet crochet.
Every year, without fail.
