Learn how to crochet a color change without a seam

As you know, I love watching
YouTube videos, and I found this one really helpful
. I’ve always found that little “jump” at the end of a row when finishing with a slip stitch a bit impractical. It’s not exactly a “step” (you’d get that without a slip stitch), but still.
I find the method shown here—which also involves a color change—very practical,
so I wanted to share it with you.

Yeah, that’s a great tip. I tried it out right away on a test hat—the color change worked great, but I lost count of the stitches and ended up with too many increases. The hat turned out way too big, but the main thing is that the color change looks good.
