This children’s jacket with a hood and pockets features a colorful pattern—just the way kids love it. It’s knit top-down with raglan shaping and has (almost) no seams. Only the pockets need to be sewn on along one side. The jacket fits sizes 92–104.

Some knitting experience is required. The pattern is well explained with many detailed photos. The photos are positioned so that they don’t necessarily need to be printed out.

Knitting pattern: ALL-SEASON BEANIE made from colorful sock yarn

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

For this feather-light all-season beanie, which is made with knitting needles in various sizes (the brim with size 3.5 needles, the main part with size 6.0 needles, the decreases with 4.5 and 4.0) and with a size 3.0–4.0 crochet hook for the embellishment, 70 g of 6-ply sock yarn is enough, though usually one skein is 150 g. So you can easily knit a small cowl or even 1 pair of socks up to shoe size 36/37 from the leftover yarn :-)

By the way: you can find a sock knitting course for 6-ply sock yarn here:

A crocheted blanket with stripes.............

I crocheted this blanket using three different colors, but there are no limits to your imagination.

My blanket measures 84 x 67 cm, but it can be made larger as desired.

It was crocheted using Katia Mississippi 3, 210 m LL, hook size 3.5. Yarn usage was 150 g of turquoise, 100 g of white, and 100 g of gray.

In the pattern, the pattern is shown as a crochet chart and explained in writing row by row. Click here to go straight to the pattern

Suitable for any yarn and size.

A feather-light gradient lace shawl (yarn used here: 150 g Austermann Caleido Lace for approx. 42 cm x 112 cm) in a simple openwork pattern that can be worn as a shoulder shawl, scarf, or even as a hooded scarf.

Basic knitting skills (casting on, knit and purl stitches, edge stitches, yarn overs / knitting together, binding off) are sufficient for this simple openwork pattern.

Stripes are always wonderful, especially because you can play with colors so much. Bright and colorful, or maybe a more understated version? Exactly the way you like it best. Here I’d like to show you a few striped designs from my shop:

Triangular Shawl BOBBEL-LIENCHEN
This shawl is crocheted sideways and can also be made by ambitious beginners with basic knowledge. The crochet pattern includes a table in which all stitches are noted exactly, as well as a crochet chart for the three most important parts. To make it, you’ll need gradient yarn with 750 m yardage.
--> Get more info and the pattern here: Shawl BOBBEL-LIENCHEN

Beanie HERBSFREUDE
This beanie is one of the most popular patterns in my shop. It can easily be crocheted for the whole family. Since it is started from the brim, it can be very easily adjusted to any head circumference. You can also crochet it in lots of colors and use up your leftover yarn, or make it in just one color. Anything is possible.
--> Get more info and the pattern here: Beanie HERBSFREUDE

Lanterns SOMMERFREUDE
With these lanterns you can decorate your living room or your terrace beautifully and use up leftover yarn at the same time. Fitted with an LED light, they also glow at night in the colors of your yarn.

This beautiful modern bag combines tapestry technique and double stitch (both explained in detail). With this special stitch (double stitch), it’s possible to crochet in rounds
without an offset—making it especially well suited for tapestry technique. Beautiful straight and diagonal patterns can be incorporated.

This hat also features a wave pattern. Three colors are used here, but don’t let that worry you: in each round, only two colors are knitted at the same time. The motif is shown in a knitting chart. This hat is available in four different sizes.

You can find the pattern here.

Casual and trendy, this beautiful shoulder bag in natural tones

In the photos you can see the embroidered front and the unembroidered back. Of course, you can embroider both sides or leave the bag “plain” - just as you like.
Using the clever double stitch creates a fascinating look, making the bag appear almost woven. Admiring glances are guaranteed.

Here’s the pattern

"Striped Dream" Loop Crochet Pattern
Click here to go directly to the crochet pattern

The "Striped Dream" loop is a great accessory and a real eye-catcher. Thanks to the pattern, the loop drapes loosely and immediately catches the eye with its fantastic color combination. The loop can be wrapped twice around the neck, keeping you nice and warm. This crochet pattern is especially well suited for beginners, as the pattern is easy to follow and includes a crochet chart. What you should know: basic crochet skills (single crochet, slip stitch, double crochet, half double crochet, chain stitch...), color changes, and how to read a crochet chart. What you’ll need:
  • 7 mm crochet hook
  • Scissors, darning needle
  • 300g of yarn in the colors of your choice (e.g. “Cosima plus Merino” by Schoeller und Stahl, 70m per 50g skein, in colors 0010, 0023, 0039), 3 different colors and 100g of each color. The yarn should have a length of approximately 80m per 100g. If you use yarn with a shorter length, you’ll need more skeins. The yarn should be suitable for a 7–8 mm crochet hook.
  • The loop can be wrapped around the neck twice and drapes beautifully and lightly.
The crochet pattern is 6 pages long and includes pictures and a crochet chart!

The crochet pattern for this tunic is also suitable for beginners (with a little experience), as it also includes a “small crochet school.”

I have explained everything in great detail and step by step with lots of pictures, so that making it yourself will really go smoothly. I’m also happy to help at any time.

  • Crochet hook 3.5 (or as desired
  • Sewing needle

Crochet pattern for a colorful bag (quick and easy)

Beautifully striped and colorful, this is a great bag. Perfect for a quick little shopping trip. Maybe also nice for the little ones to play with.
You can never have enough bags, can you?
This bag is crocheted in one piece and then sewn together. Then just add the handles and it’s done. So it’s quick and, in the end, also quite sturdy.

This bag is crocheted “only” in single crochet stitches, so no complicated techniques. Definitely also well suited for beginners.

Material
  • ONline Linie 55 Montego (100 g/100 m yardage) colors 35 52/23 and 46
  • 6.0 mm crochet hook (or as desired)
  • Sewing needle/darning needle
  • Scissors

Cowl collars are a great alternative to loops and scarves for keeping warm in winter...
... you can never have enough of them.

Here, 2 techniques come together - and harmonize beautifully:
Tartan + Tapestry

Who says the tartan technique only shines in knitted fashion? - Far from it!
Crocheted pieces can be wonderfully jazzed up too!

The method looks sophisticated, but is so easy to work that even beginners will enjoy it!

A detailed step-by-step explanation guides you through the crochet pattern.
For clarification, the pattern includes 1 crochet chart .
In addition, a template with an integrated diagram helps you through the crochet process.

The tartan technique is also described in detail and illustrated (16 pictures).
The tapestry technique is explained separately as well.

The unrolled scarf has a size of about 34 x 105 cm.
However, it can easily be made smaller or larger as needed.
The included template and the gauge help with that!

And here’s the pattern and more details...

Beautiful colors + simple pattern + great cut = a snood you just have to have!

This loop scarf in a tartan look has a sophisticated effect, yet is so easy to make,
that it is also suitable for beginners !

The circumference is about 80 cm, and the height is approx. 50 cm.
However, the included cut and the gauge make it possible to adjust the size individually.

You will also find a chart of the color scheme as well as a detailed description in the pattern.
In addition, extensive photo documentation helps guide you through the knitting process.
The tartan technique is also described in detail and illustrated.

And here is the pattern with more details...

The crochet pattern is, as always, beginner-friendly and illustrated. You can choose the material entirely according to your wishes, because any yarn can be used.

A soul warmer like this is ideal for spring!
In this mustard yellow, it’s simply unbeatable!

This zigzag pattern is simply fun and looks outstanding on top of that.
The edging is worked with a relief pattern, which is simple—but still very effective.

The shape of the soul warmer requires absolutely no decreases or increases...
... so it’s also absolutely recommended for beginners!

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process.
For clarification, the pattern includes 3 crochet charts.
In addition, 3 diagrams help you through the crochet process step by step.

This pattern is designed for sizes S/M/L/XL.
However, the pattern explains how the shrug can be very easily adapted to any size.
The included template and the gauge help with that!

And here’s the pattern and more details...
