Where have you all gone?

Everyone’s gone—no Muetzekatze, Sundown, Clara, Faltenstirn, etc.?
It’s suddenly so quiet here?

Has the Christmas rush hit, or is it Thanksgiving? Or those two big shopping days right before and after Thanksgiving—Black Friday or White Monday or something like that?

I bought some ribbon yarn
and have been experimenting with it.
It’s not that easy for someone who hasn’t been doing this for very long,
but I’ll start a separate thread for that.
But don’t worry, the others will show up again too.
I’m not worried about that.
Every forum has a lull from time to time,
and then suddenly everyone’s back again.
The forum isn’t going anywhere, after all.

Neither Christmas stress nor Thanksgiving—I just wasn’t in the mood to surf the internet.
Unlike the youth of today—at my age, I can get away with making remarks like that—I’m not addicted to the internet and don’t need to be logged in all the time. I absolutely don’t need a smartphone. I find forums and communities very pleasant, but a break now and then does me good.
When I spend less time online, I have more time for needlework.
Of course, that’s not a permanent solution either. I definitely need the exchange with you and other needlework enthusiasts every now and then.

What muetzekatze writes about lulls in forums—I can confirm that. It happens sometimes. There doesn’t even have to be an obvious reason for it. Sometimes it’s just quieter than usual. But that usually resolves itself on its own.
