Click here to go directly to the crochet pattern

What you’ll need:
  • Approx. 12g of yarn in brown (e.g., Cotone fine by Lana Grossa, 100% cotton). Scraps in beige or light brown. Your yarn should definitely be suitable for a 2mm crochet hook
  • 2mm crochet hook
  • stuffing
  • Scissors, darning needle, stitch markers

At the beginning of the pattern, I explain in detail how to crochet the bobbles that represent the spikes. Length: 12 pages of crochet pattern with pictures showing everything step by step. I also show you how to sew on the individual parts with pictures.

Crochet pattern for a cute little bag

The perfect project for the weekend, because you can finish it in just a few hours.
The gift bag is great for many occasions. Wrap a small gift, attach it as an extra to a larger gift, or bring it along to a party with a small Piccolo bottle and snacks. It works up fairly quickly.

I have explained everything step by step and in great detail in a 7-page PDF file with lots of pictures. This means even beginners can easily make these little bags and compare their results. There is also a small crochet school included in the appendix.
There is also a short 2-page version without pictures for printing.
The gift bag is approximately 17.0 cm wide and 18.0 cm tall.

Material
  • Catania by Schachenmayr 125m/ 50g, 2 colors, approximately 55 g total
  • 3.0 mm crochet hook (or as desired)
  • Sewing needle/darning needle
  • Scissors
What is crocheted
  • Chain stitch
  • Slip stitch
  • Single crochet
  • Double crochet
  • Half double crochet
Have fun!

A cozy and easy weekend project would be, for example, the “Zibba” shawl. To knit it, you’ll need about 150 g of sock yarn and 3.5 mm knitting needles. Do you have a little more or less yarn on hand? No problem at all. You can keep knitting for as long as you like, or simply bind off when you run out of yarn. The trendy bobbles along the edge make this shawl a real eye-catcher.

It’s going to be a long weekend, and temperatures are plummeting. So why not knit two shawls—in a value pack—using slightly thicker yarn? :-)) Grab some yarn and thick needles, and let’s get started. Both shawls promise variety and pure knitting fun.

A great weekend project:

Relax socks, 6-ply, in a simple lace pattern - knitting pattern

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

These women’s/men’s socks are, above all, comfortable wellness/relax/house socks with a loose cuff, which can also be rolled down – so “nothing cuts in”..

Cuff height as desired. The simple lace pattern consists of only 2 pattern rows.
The PDF knitting pattern is written for sizes 36 to 43 and illustrated.

General knitting skills required.
We knit with a set of double-pointed needles. Difficulty level: medium

We need 1 skein = 150 g (yardage approx. 420 m to 450 m of a 6-ply sock yarn; here, for the short cuff of approx. 10 cm, used: approx. 70 g for shoe size 39 Lungauer sock wool by Ferner Wolle (cuddly soft), made of 75% merino, 25% polyamide; gauge approx. 22 sts x 31 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm; set of double-pointed needles 3.5–4.0. Austermann STEP6 with aloe vera and jojoba oil is also great

This way to the pattern

A crocheted hat is always a good idea in a cool autumn breeze.

Whether for yourself, your children, or your partner, this hat can easily be adjusted to any head size.

You’ll need between 25 and 75 g of 4-ply gradient yarn (50% cotton / 50% acrylic).
Here, the “Zimtstern” cake from Traumgarne was used.
Add a size 3–3.5 crochet hook, and you’re ready to get started.

The hat consists of chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and post double crochet stitches.
As an experienced crocheter, you can follow the PDF pattern without any trouble, and I hope you have lots of fun with it.

Are you still looking for a great weekend crochet project?

With my pattern, you can crochet a beautiful wrap bag yourself! The bag is made almost entirely of simple granny squares and is truly a feel-good project!
Choose the colors and yarn however you like! Maybe you even already have something suitable in your yarn stash? Then you can get started right away, can't you? ;-)

Click here for more info about the wrap bag crochet project :-)

The difficulty level is easy to intermediate, but thanks to the super-detailed pattern (23 pages with lots of great photos), even beginners with a little experience can give it a try!How the square is crocheted is explained very precisely in words in a photo tutorial. There is also a page with the crochet chart to take out.
The clever part is the closure with the hair elastic. It is not sewn on, but worked in right away. How does that work? I'll show you! With lots of photos, step by step in a great photo tutorial...:-)

Are you a beginner knitter, want to knit something for a baby or toddler and are still looking for a relaxing weekend project?

Knit a great basic triangular scarf!
This scarf is simply fantastic: wonderfully soft and warm, it wraps around the neck like a turtleneck, and the snap fastener makes it super practical. Cold wind? Click! Scarf on. The sun comes back out and it’s too warm? Click. Scarf off again. Kids and moms love how easy it is... ;-)

With one skein of Cool Wool by Lana Grossa (160 m/50 g) you can knit one whole scarf. The color palette is huge! Or do you still have a skein with a similar yardage at home? Then you can start knitting right away! :-)

With this wonderfully warm neck warmer, nothing can go wrong for men or women on cold days...
... and it's trendy too!

The great raised pattern provides stability and a braided texture.
Once you have crocheted the pattern repeat, you'll have the hang of it -
even beginners will enjoy this pattern!

A detailed step-by-step explanation guides you through the crochet pattern.
For clarification, 1 crochet chart can be found in the pattern.
In addition, a template with an integrated schematic helps you through the crochet process.

When rolled out, the scarf has a size of about 27 x 96 cm.
However, it can easily be made smaller or larger as needed.
The included template and the gauge help with this.

And here you can find the pattern and more details...

Anyone still looking for a small craft project for the weekend might like this lovely knitted doll cardigan. If you have 20 to 25 g of sock yarn and a matching needle plus a set of double-pointed needles in size 2 at home, you can get started right away. But be warned—these cardigans are a bit addictive... once you’ve knitted one, you’ll always want to make another. The dolls’ moms will be delighted.

Best regards and have a lovely weekend - Ina

Suitable for beginners.
