When blocked and using the specified yarn and hook size, the shawl measures approx. 2.00 m x 0.70 m. You can crochet it from written instructions or work from a crochet chart.

Click here to go to the pattern:

Required materials:
  • a 4-ply, plied gradient yarn with a total length of approx. 900 m was used here; of course, you can also make it with other yarns/wool
  • any crochet hook that matches the yarn (here size 3.5)

This calculation aid is a formula-based Excel spreadsheet. It is a tool for converting your personal gauge into the required number of stitches for your desired knitting/crochet project.

Important technical note:
For this, the Excel spreadsheet program or another free downloadable calculation program available online, such as LibreOffice, is required. Open the file with a double-click and click "Enable Editing".

And here's how it works:
Enter the result of your personal gauge as well as the details for the specific pattern, and the required number of stitches will appear automatically.

Have fun with all your projects.

Again and again, one like this
Crochet Beanie 'Tabata' & Möbius Shawl Collar/Loop (m/f)

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This crochet set (m/f) in fashionable gray  consists of a beanie and a Möbius scarf collar/loop.

The PDF pattern is written for head circumferences from 52  cm – 60 cm and includes both – hat and loop (loop in one size).

The crochet pattern is illustrated, but requires general crochet knowledge (chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, crocheting in rounds, slip stitches, increases and decreases). The special stitches are illustrated and described. Difficulty level: intermediate.

For the hat, 150 g is required, and for the loop, 100 g of a yarn with 50 g – 75 m yardage is required. Unlike the hook size listed on the yarn label, this project is crocheted with hook sizes 8.0 and 10.0.

Practical shopping net with the life motto "Live Love Laugh".
This cute shopping net reminds you to take a short break now and then and
enjoy life. Thanks to the filet pattern, the bag is crocheted in no time and
also makes a great gift.

For the material I used Catania by Schachenmayr; of course,
you can also use any other cotton yarn—also great for
using up leftovers. Crochet hooks 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm.
The bag is 35 cm wide and 45 cm tall (including handles).

Suitable for beginners.

The pattern is described in detail with a counting pattern, crochet chart, and many pictures.

The simple, quick-to-crochet pattern makes this shawl absolutely suitable for beginners.

Airy and elegant triangular shawl to snuggle up in and feel good.

Cuddly soft, wonderfully loose and soft, versatile, and super chic.

The crocheted shawl can be made with different yarns. Here
a Woolly Hugs BOBBEL-COTTON (50% cotton, 50% polyacrylic, yardage =
800 m/200 g) in color no. 01 was used. It was crocheted with a
3.0 mm crochet hook.

The shawl is approx. 190 cm long / approx. 90 cm high. Since the pattern
is very simple and repeats every 2 rows, the shawl can be made in
any size you like.

Suitable for beginners.

Required prior knowledge: chain stitch, single crochet, and treble crochet
Detailed description as a PDF file with text, crochet chart and step-by-step photos.

I love crochet flowers, and these little mini bells are not only simple but also very quick to crochet. The flowers can be crocheted with a size 2 - 2.5 crochet hook and thin crochet thread, or with larger hooks and thicker yarn, without needing to recalculate anything.

The little bells are great for decorating all kinds of things, whether cushion covers, hats, jackets, and much more. They’re also always eye-catching as small table scatter decorations.

Let’s get started and use up some leftover yarn. Crochet flowers always make a lovely gift, too.

Here is the crochet pattern (€0.30).

Ines from lessigfashion wishes you lots of joy crocheting these sweet bellflowers.

I’d like to introduce you to a very popular tool from my shop that makes crocheting and knitting easier. The Crochet and Knitting Calculator does the math for you, so you can focus on what really matters... namely crocheting and knitting.

The Crochet and Knitting Calculator is a program that you can use on your PC, tablet, or phone.

With it, you can calculate or convert the following:
  • How many skeins of yarn do I need if I want to crochet or knit my project with a different yarn than the one specified?
  • How many stitches and rows do I need to cast on to be able to crochet my desired size?
  • How many stitches and rows do I need to cast on to be able to crochet or knit the crocheted piece with a different one than specified?
  • How big does my crown circle need to be to achieve the desired head circumference?

--> To the Crochet and Knitting Calculator

The Crochet and Knitting Calculator is also available in combination with the yarn search engine as an affordable complete package. It also lists over 720 yarns with their various properties, namely:
  • Manufacturer
  • Name
  • Direct link to the manufacturer’s page and to the yarn
  • Type of use (e.g., amigurumi yarn, roving yarn, summer yarn, etc.)
  • Needle/hook size
  • Fiber type and percentage share (cotton, wool, merino, virgin wool, alpaca, viscose, cashmere, mohair, acrylic, polyamide, polyester, others with exact name)
  • Yardage in m per skein
  • Weight in g per skein
  • Gauge
  • Care instructions
  • Price per skein (RRP)
  • Price converted to m of yardage

And the best part is that you can filter the yarns according to your wishes. For example, you’re looking for a pure cotton yarn in needle/hook size 3, or yarns with alpaca content, or a yarn with a specific gauge, and so on and so on

Here’s where you can find the package: --> Crochet and Knitting Calculator // Yarn Search Engine

Haven’t found a suitable container for all those back-to-school gifts yet? How about this XXXL pencil ? This bag offers enough space for all sorts of things—from candy and pretty school supplies to larger toys—so the schoolchild will definitely have everything important with them on their first day of school.

Made from photo cardstock, the gift bag measures approximately 12 x 34 x 10.5 cm. It’s very easy to make and can be lengthened, changed in color, or decorated differently.

This pinafore skirt for toddlers grows with them from about 1.5 years up to age 5.

Little by little, it turns into a cute skirt. This means the favorite piece can be worn for a long time, which is sure to make both child and mom happy.

The following materials are needed (colors and yarn can also be chosen differently)
  • Circular knitting needles size 3 and size 2 – each 60 cm long
  • 1 crochet hook size 4 for the cord
  • 200 g cotton (yardage 120 m/50 g) in the main color – coral here
  • 50 g in golden yellow (mustard) for the stripes, hearts, and cord
  • A total of 12 buttons with a diameter of 2 cm (I chose little heart buttons on one side and little flower buttons on the other side)
  • 1 yarn sewing needle for weaving in ends
  • a few stitch markers

This is guaranteed to be a hit! Especially in fall, when it gets colder and more unpleasant outside, you need warm feet. And rubber boots aren’t always lined. Just knit the felted insoles for your shoes and boots yourselves! My husband is a fisherman and swears by them ;-)
All it takes is a few grams of felting wool; the washing machine takes care of the felting.

  • Round 5-liter plastic bucket (height up to 20 cm)
  • Crochet hook size 3.5
  • Needle, scissors, measuring tape
Click here and you'll go directly to the crochet pattern!
