Barbie has dressed up in full Oktoberfest style. She’s wearing a black-and-red crocheted dirndl with a white blouse and a green openwork apron. She’s accessorized with a red traditional hat, a black choker, and a traditional handbag. Of course, her admirer also gave her a big gingerbread house as a gift!

To crochet this outfit, you’ll need cotton yarn (165 m/50 g) for a size 2 hook (e.g. Catania Fine) in red, white, black, and green, and for the heart, leftover yarn in brown, pink, and yellow.

Difficulty level of the pattern: medium. You can download it here!

Brand-new crochet pattern from my shop

Door Wreath “Autumn Mood with the Meckis”
It won’t be long now before the leaves turn more colorful and autumn is just around the corner. Autumn has its own charms, too,
and this door wreath really shows off the autumn colors beautifully.
There is still plenty of time to crochet this autumn decoration

Details & pattern are available here

Materials you need
  • Styrofoam wreath, 22 cm diameter
  • Rainbow mix yarn for the wreath
  • Arktis yarn for the hedgehogs
  • Leftover cotton yarn in light and dark green, beige, etc.
  • Crochet hooks in various sizes
  • Stuffing
  • Safety eyes or beads
  • Scissors, sewing needle, pins
  • Ribbon or other decorations
The pattern is illustrated, written without abbreviations, and very detailed.

The little, cuddly penguin will become a loyal companion, comforter, and sleep aid, because it smells so wonderfully familiar like Mom and Dad. You can make this sweet cuddly companion yourself with lots of love in every stitch using this pattern. The pattern is written in great detail over 15 pages, and many pictures help you with the process. To crochet the comforter, you will need: a 2–2.5 mm crochet hook; yarn—I recommend Mondial Bio Soft Cotton 50g-180 m. This yarn is made of 100% organic cotton, is very soft, and has been tested for harmful substances, making it ideal for baby toys. (Or alternatively Katia “Candy” for Baby or Online Cotton Baby.) You can also use a different yarn, but you need to keep in mind that this will change the size of the cloth. You need: remnants in orange for the beak and feet; black remnants for the eyes; mint (color 291) for the heart; remnants in white for the eyes and hair; color 210, 50g (white, multicolored speckles) for the underside of the cloth; color 823 smoky blue, 50g, for the upper side of the cloth and the head. If you use different yarn, you may need to adjust the yarn quantities. A darning needle for weaving in ends; scissors; a row marker or a thread in a contrasting color to mark the beginning of each round; sewing thread in a matching color to sew on the head, eyes, hair, and feet; stuffing; possibly crinkle foil for the feet / rattle insert for the head; row marker. To crochet the comforter, you need to know the following: single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), decreases, increases, slip stitch, magic ringClick here to go directly to the pattern

Crochet pattern - Bowling Game in a Bag

A party, kids’, and game-time fun set comes right to your home with this bowling game set.

For children, it’s fun for the kids’ room... with friends and siblings .... no rumbling, no annoying noise ... an almost silent game... apart from the cheering children.

But it’s not only the children who will enjoy this bowling set.

Party with friends... bring out your "bowling bag" and the mood will be buzzing.

And for the winners, there’s even a matching trophy included.

Thanks to the practical carrying bag (bag), you can take the game to any party or lend it to your friends....

A game with a huge fun factor and, of course, a great gift for children, grandchildren, and friends.

Birthday, Christmas?....and you’re missing that brilliant gift idea?... with the bowling set, you’re guaranteed to score "ALL NINE".

The detailed, richly illustrated pattern includes:
  • the pins
  • 2 balls (one large one for bowling and one handicap ball to make the game even more interesting)
  • a mascot that can also be used as a trophy
  • A bag in which the set can be stored
Of course, this pattern is also especially suitable for beginners.

Material:
  • For the pins, approx. 300 g of white yarn; Royal by Zeeman was used for the pattern
  • stuffing
  • For the balls and color accents, leftover yarn in any color
  • You can crochet the bag entirely from colorful leftover yarn
  • 3.5 mm crochet hook

The placemats for coffee lovers have just moved into my shop!

They are crocheted using the mini C2C technique, which is of course also explained in the pattern.

What you’ll need:

♦ Crochet yarn in the desired colors; recommendation: cotton with a yardage of 125 m / 50 g, e.g. Schachenmayr Catania or Scheepjes Catona. Background color: approx. 2 balls, all other colors: less than 1 ball
♦ Crochet hook: For the types of yarn mentioned, I recommend a 3 mm hook. If you use a different yarn, you may need a different hook.
♦ Sewing needle for weaving in the ends
♦ A pair of scissors for cutting off leftover yarn

The stitches required are chain stitches, half double crochets and slip stitches.

Get the pattern here and get started right away! :)

Have fun!

It’s still summer, but fall will be here sooner than you think! Wouldn’t you like to crochet this cute table decoration for then? The little chestnut child is 12 cm tall and has movable joints. It wears a green leaf cape and a green spiky hat. It loves nothing more than playing all day with chestnuts and falling autumn leaves.
You can easily crochet it yourself using leftover cotton yarn in green, brown, and skin tones with 2 mm or 2.5 mm crochet hooks.

You can find the pattern here!

Crochet pattern for the "Hope" hat set (scarf and hat)

--> Click here for the pattern

People wear hats not only in fall and winter; some of us wear hats for a completely different reason—cancer and chemotherapy. This set was created for that very reason. The Hope hat set bears its name to encourage exactly these people. In my blog on my own homepage, there is a short story about this set and the motivation behind it.

The colors and the pattern also make this hat and scarf look unique, because the post double crochets really stand out beautifully here in different patterns.
If you are not yet familiar with post double crochets, they are also explained again with a picture in the pattern.

Skill level: easy to intermediate

What you need:

Yarn: Gründl Cotton Light (50% cotton/50% polyester – recommended needle size 4-5 – 100 g = 200 m yardage) purple and white, just under 100 g each
Cotton or polyester yarn with print/color changes for needle size 4-5, approx. 150 g
Hook size 4 or 4.5 (depending on how tightly you crochet), yarn needle and scissors

What you need to know:

Magic ring, chain stitches, double crochet, post double crochet, increasing stitches

The Frog Prince bookmark makes sure you don’t lose your place, because it always helps you open to the right page. A nice addition to a book or to a school cone. The frog can also serve as a fun decoration for a child’s room. A small crochet project for in between, perfect for using up leftover yarn.

A beautiful back can be a delight...
With this sassy top, you definitely won’t go unnoticed!
The clever decorative border with buttons as a closure shows off any back beautifully!

The basic pattern is simple yet sophisticated, and the cut requires no decreases or increases at all...
... so it is also absolutely recommended for beginners!

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process.
For clarification, the pattern includes 2 charts in crochet chart form.
In addition, a diagram helps guide you step by step through the crochet process.

This pattern is designed for sizes S/M/L/XL.
However, the pattern explains how the top can be easily adjusted to any size.
The included pattern piece and the gauge help with this!

And here’s the pattern and more details...

Once upon a time there was a man who lived alone in the mountains. On his walks through the beautiful landscape, he longed for company, and so he got himself two sheep. As nature would have it, these two sheep had offspring, and so the shepherd could now be seen roaming the meadows together with his three little sheep. He would then take a break on a tree trunk, watch them graze, and enjoy his friendly companions.

Here comes not just one hand puppet, but 6 variations in a set. Nothing now stands in the way of your next self-designed theater performance.

The illustrated pattern is 33 pages long and is also suitable for beginners. The pattern includes the basic body as well as the designs for a cat, mouse, bear, sea bear, duck, and rabbit.

Basic crochet skills (single crochet, half double crochet, treble crochet, post double crochet, chain stitches and turning chains, increases and decreases, working in rows and spiral rounds, sewing together, knotting) are required, however, and are not explained separately.

NOTE: To make sure the size proportions are correct, it is important to follow the yarn yardage information exactly!

The pattern is available in a money-saving set of 6 or individually.

You can find the money-saving set here.

A loose and easy-to-crochet lace pattern + 1 Bobbel in a gorgeous color combination + two cleverly placed buttons
= a cuddly-soft, wonderfully beautiful feel-good shawl that can be worn in many situations and rediscovered again and again!

Thanks to two cleverly placed buttons, this shawl is a true quick-change artist. Since the buttons fit through the lace pattern, there’s no need to work in buttonholes—so the buttons can be fastened at any
desired spot—creating a wide variety of ways to wear it!

Thanks to the lace pattern and the lovely soft yarn, the shawl is wonderfully airy and soft. A true comfort piece!

Here’s the pattern

A Woolly Hugs BOBBEL-COTTON (50% cotton, 50% polyacrylic, yardage = 800 m/200 g) in color no. 02 was used for the crocheted shawl.

The shawl is approx. 144 cm long / approx. 36 cm high. Of course, the shawl can be made in any desired size (using correspondingly more or less yarn).

Detailed description as a PDF file with text, crochet chart, and step-by-step photos.

The basic pattern is simple and therefore also absolutely suitable for beginners.
The sequins add a lively touch!

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process.

Attaching the sequins is a breeze thanks to a step-by-step explanation and clear pictures.

This pattern is designed for sizes S-M/L/XL.
However, the size can be adjusted very easily.
The included schematic and the gauge help with that!
