Bangle Bracelets Made from PET Bottles—Modern, Colorful, and Casual!
Bangles or bracelets are the perfect addition to any outfit and always an
eye-catcher. Here, I’ll show you a special method for making stylish bangles quickly and easily
with just a few materials.

All you need is an old PET bottle, some yarn, and—for a
touch of glamour—a piece of rhinestone chain—and in no time at all, you’ll have a truly
unique piece of jewelry. Also great as a gift or a small present.

You can mix and match the bangles however you like. Whether you wear just one
bangle (in which case it might be a bit wider), two, or several at once
— they’re always a real eye-catcher. Depending on which
colors you use, these pieces can look elegant (e.g.,
in black and white), cheerful and summery (colorful in pastel shades), etc.

Metal-free, flexible, and light as a feather—making them incredibly comfortable to wear.
Materials used: plastic from PET bottles, cotton (Catania Grande by Schachenmayr), rhinestone chain, jewelry glue.

The bangles are washable at 30 degrees in a laundry net.

Detailed instructions available as a PDF file with over 20 step-by-step photos.

This sweet wrap bracelet is crocheted in no time. An eye-catcher on any wrist. Super comfortable
to wear—lightweight and trendy. Also a great gift or
small present to bring along.

The bracelet is crocheted in one piece, so there’s no annoying weaving in of ends (only the starting and ending tails). So grab your yarn
and a crochet hook and get started.

  • 1.5 mm crochet hook

This scarf is very colorful.

It’s crocheted from sock yarn; you’ll need two 100g skeins. The pattern is a simple mesh pattern with cables worked in between. You can learn how to do that in a photo tutorial.

There’s room in the bucket for your current craft project. That way you’ll always have everything you need right at hand.

As colorful as a tropical fruit.

The Papaya potholder.

This is definitely a beginner-friendly knitting pattern made up of knit and purl stitches. It is knitted in thick cotton yarn, although I would recommend choosing a slightly smaller needle size than normally suggested for the yarn so that the fabric comes out nice and dense.
The pattern is written out row by row and also includes a knitting chart.

These little figures are certainly colorful, which is why they fit especially well in a colorfully decorated children’s room. Their favorite place to sit is on any edge—whether it’s the edge of a table, dresser, closet, or bookshelf, it doesn’t matter.

When seated, these edge-sitters are about 22 cm tall from the soles of their feet to the tips of their hats. They’re made of cardstock and construction paper and are very easy to make, even for beginners.

Here’s another colorful baby hat, though this one requires a bit of skill.

You can find the pattern here.

This knitted hat is inspired by the fairy tale of Rapunzel, so the pattern incorporates cables. What makes it special is that you use two colors in every round. Not suitable for beginners, but very satisfying once it’s finished.
For the hat, you’ll need yarn (150m per 50g) in two colors and 4mm knitting needles. The pattern is available in three different sizes, from newborn to 2 years old. One skein of each color is enough for all sizes.

Lion and Mouse are a wonderfully colorful pair of edge-sitter friends.

Thematically inspired by the fable of the same name, this 11-page crochet pattern—complete with plenty of pictures and detailed instructions—explains how you can crochet these two unlikely friends yourself. Due to its length, this pattern is best suited for experienced crocheters. Using cotton yarn and a size 2.5 crochet hook, the lion will be about 19 cm tall and the mouse about 10 cm tall (each without legs).
