Shinji the Snowman, with his red hat and carrot nose, is simply made for cuddling... whether it's summer or winter.

Shinjii the Snowman will be 25 cm tall when made using the specified materials. I personally recommend cotton yarn for making all of my amigurumi and dolls.

Cuddle Monster Snowy loves snow more than anything. But he also loves being cuddled.

Crochet pattern for a poncho with a Möbius shawl collar (loop) - easy

Quick and easy to crochet...

With this crochet method, you can decide while crocheting how large the poncho should be – you simply stop crocheting whenever you like.

The poncho and Möbius scarf are made with thick gradient yarn, 100 g – 100 m, and an 8.0 mm crochet hook. Yarn needed for both pieces: approx. 700 g.

The PDF pattern includes the poncho and Möbius scarf and has pictures, but it is not a crochet course in itself.

These crochet skills are needed:
chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows, crocheting in rounds.

By the way: with a Möbius scarf, the pattern you make is mirrored, i.e. one horizontal half appears like a right outer side, while the second half appears like a wrong inner side of the pattern. This creates clever effects, depending on how the scarf is wrapped and how the pattern falls.

This is an illustrated crochet pattern for easy-to-crochet baby shoes.

Basic crochet skills are enough.

We need:

approx. 50 g cotton (blend) yarn with a yardage of approx. 90 m per 50 g, for knitting needle size 4.0–5.0; used here: crochet hook 4.5; thinner yarn can also be used—the stated measurements are what matter (check the gauge), leftover yarn for the bows or 2 pretty buttons, yarn needle, tape measure, scissors.

One size - quick and easy


Whether crocheted or knitted: a cozy piece like this is popular all year round, whether on cool summer days, as an outdoor jacket in the transitional season, or on the couch in winter.

And yes, the crochet pattern looks knitted and is just as cuddly soft. But knitters will also get their money’s worth. The stitch pattern is very similar.

The PDF pattern is extensively illustrated over 23 pages and includes both the crochet pattern and the knitting pattern for the soul warmer and the arm/leg warmers.

The stitches used are explained with pictures. So general crochet or knitting skills are sufficient.

Basically, any yarn you like can be used. However, the amount of yarn can vary greatly depending on your yarn choice and needle/hook size. Details are included in the pattern. My yarn usage when using an alpaca yarn, 50 g – 100 m, according to the label for needle size 3–4, but used here: crochet hook size 8.0

Not just for Christmas—with different yarn, these “flowers” are suitable for the whole year.

The decorative piece consists of two parts, each of which can also be used individually. Finished size with the yarn listed below: approx. 7 cm in diameter.

The PDF pattern is richly illustrated.

All you need is a leftover yarn of approx. 10 g of metallic yarn, e.g. used here: Nora Madeira, 25 g – 100 m, 80% viscose, 20% metallized polyester, for crochet hook size 2.5–3.0.

For this triangular shawl for all seasons, you can basically use any yarn you like – the thinner, the more elegant.. Size: any size.

For the size made here, approx. 70 cm x 162 cm, I used 350 g Schachenmayr Cotton Bamboo, 50 g – 120 m, hook/needle size according to the label 3 – 4, here crochet hook 4.0. I would not recommend thicker yarn for visual reasons. I decided not to block the shawl, since then the curves of the shell pattern stand out better –  but that’s a matter of taste..

This is an Excel spreadsheet for automatically converting a yarn quantity from the "original yarn" to an
"alternative yarn" of your choice. 

Example:
The original yarn specified in your pattern has a yardage of 85 m per 50 g. According to the instructions there, you need 600 g of this "original yarn" for your size. But you would like to make your piece in a different yarn (= alternative yarn). The yarn you have chosen has a yardage of 70 m per 50 g skein. You enter this information into the Excel spreadsheet and immediately receive the required quantity of your desired yarn in skeins and grams.

A gauge swatch is always advisable. To determine the number of stitches needed for your individual knitted piece, the simple version of my Excel conversion table for your gauge is included as a bonus.

A knitted lightweight piece for every season – whether worn over or under – simple, with an eye-catching collar area. Both patterns used are absolutely easy (only knit and purl stitches). The collar design requires a little care. Unlike the “Margit” model, the sleeves are knitted with a sleeve cap. The length is variable.

The illustrated pattern with stitch- and row-by-row instructions is based on a gauge of approx. 14.5 sts = approx. 10 cm with size 6.0 knitting needles. Because of the cardigan’s relaxed shape and stretch, one stitch more or less is not especially crucial. If there are larger differences in gauge, please choose a larger or smaller needle size. The pattern does not include a knitting course, but it does include relevant link tips.

We need

For this feather-light all-season beanie, which is made with knitting needles in various sizes (the cuff with size 3.5 needles, the main part with size 6.0 needles, the decreases with 4.5 and 4.0) and with a size 3.0–4.0 crochet hook for the embellishment, 70 g of 6-ply sock yarn is enough, though 1 ball usually contains 150 g. So the leftover yarn can easily be used to knit a small loop scarf or even 1 pair of socks up to shoe size 36/37 :-)

You’ll receive a detailed 21-page pattern with plenty of photos to help you make it quickly. Also suitable for beginners.
You should be familiar with single crochet, half double crochet, chain stitches, and slip stitches.
The snow gnomes are about 10 cm tall with their hats on; Fridolin is about 20 cm tall (also with his hat on)

Materials needed:

• Crochet hooks sizes 2.5 & 3.5, sewing needle
• Approx. 200 g white yarn - hook size 3-4
• Yarn in various colors (this is a great way to use up leftover yarn :)
• 24 pairs of safety eyes, 23 small wooden beads, 10 mm,
• 6 small white beads, 5 mm, and stuffing

Imagine this: an untouched snowy landscape. Temperatures far below freezing. The sun is shining, the sky is bright blue, but it’s so cold that your breath freezes in the air in front of your mouth. What color is the snow?
White, you’ll say. But that’s not true. Snow has many colors. The snow crystals sparkle in all the colors of the rainbow.
You can never quite achieve that with yarn—but you can certainly try!

This one is more of a long-term project, I have to warn you. Many yards of sock yarn will pass over your needles, but that’s nothing compared to a polar crossing :-) You can sit in the warmth while you work and be glad you don’t have to freeze.
The infinity scarf is knitted in the round and has an interesting pattern that looks like ribs, but that’s not entirely accurate because they are knitted sideways. The pattern isn’t difficult at all; it just requires a little patience.
