Dear users, dear authors,
Alongside the neon color trend there is currently also a pastel color trend. Soft pink and light blue are always a good idea.
In this thread, you can discover patterns that work well in pastel colors.
Have fun.

Here is an editorial pastel-pattern tip from me for you:
Looks good, doesn’t it?

With this pattern, you can crochet a beautiful pastel-colored loop scarf in pure silk for summer.
  • The beautiful color sequence is created by the gradient yarn used. Of course, you can also crochet this loop scarf with solid-colored yarn or use any other yarn.
The pattern is fully illustrated and suitable for beginners with basic crochet skills. However, you should already be familiar with basic crochet techniques, as the pattern does not include a crochet tutorial. This pattern is still quite simple, as you only need to know chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, and slip stitches.
  • Yarn requirements: 250 g total, yardage 100 m per 50 g. Crochet hook size 4

The three little baskets in this photo were all crocheted using the same pattern in different pastel colors. You can fill them with sweets or little surprises and give them as gifts—or use them to lovingly decorate a child’s room.

Materials:
  • "Katia Peques for Baby" (LL 232 m/50 g) or another yarn with the same yardage, of which:
  • 35 g of the base color for the bottom and handles, and
  • 3 x 5 g other colors (leftover yarn is fine too)
  • Crochet hook size 2.5
  • 1 CD as an insert for the base
  • 1 piece of plastic for the handles
This crochet pattern is also suitable for beginners. We’ll be crocheting chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, cluster stitches, and slip stitches. Over 34 pages with plenty of step-by-step photos, I’ll describe and show you exactly how to crochet this little basket. I hope you enjoy making it—Ina

This wonderfully soft and feather-light loop scarf looks great in all colors—bold as well as pastel. Once you’ve worn it, you’ll love it. It is cuddly soft and caresses the skin. It weighs only
50 g and fits into any handbag when needed. You can wear it doubled as a
loop scarf or, in a clever way, as a shoulder warmer. I really enjoy knitting it for my
friends as a birthday gift—or I give the yarn and the pattern to those who can knit themselves. Both are always very well received. In the sample photos, you can therefore see several color variations. Materials:
  • 50 g "Superior" by Filatura di Crosa"
  • Size 3 circular knitting needle (60 or 80 cm long)
  • Size 3 crochet hook
I hope you have lots of fun knitting and wearing the loop scarf.
Warm regards from Ina

This lightweight infinity scarf is made from sock yarn in delicate pastel colors (some also call them candy colors).

It’s knitted in rounds, which means you’ll have a lot of stitches on your needles—so it’s definitely not a project that’s finished quickly. However, the pattern isn’t difficult and is very relaxing to knit. You’ll need sock yarn—up to 550m, depending on the desired circumference—and a 3mm circular needle.

By the way, it’s also available as a set with the matching hat.

Knitted in pastel colors and cotton, this rectangular stole is also suitable for beginners.

All you need to know are knit stitches and purl stitches—that’s it. The length and width of the stole can be adjusted as desired, depending on your personal preferences. Just pick out some yarn and get started.

Bangle bracelets made from PET bottles - modern, colorful, and casual!
Bangles or bracelets are the perfect addition to any outfit and always an eye-catcher. Here I’ll show you a special method for quickly and easily making stylish bangles with very little material.

All you need is an old PET bottle, some yarn, and, for a touch of glamour, a piece of rhinestone chain - and in no time you’ll have a truly unique piece of jewelry. Also great as a gift or small present.

You can combine the bangles however you like. Whether just one bangle (perhaps a little wider), two, or several bangles worn at the same time - they’re always a real eye-catcher.
Depending on which colors you use, these pieces of jewelry can look elegant (e.g., in black and white), cheerfully summery (colorful in pastel colors), etc.

Go to the pattern here

No metal, flexible, and featherlight - making them super comfortable to wear.
Materials used: plastic from PET bottles, cotton (Catania Grande by Schachenmayr), rhinestone chain, jewelry glue.

The bangles are washable at 30 degrees in a laundry net.

Detailed description as a PDF file with over 20 step-by-step photos.

The shells look especially beautiful in pastel colors and are easy to crochet. You only need a few grams of yarn, so you can use any leftover yarn you have.

With the help of this pattern, you can crochet a beautiful hat/beanie . Despite the loose pattern, the beanie is nice and warm because it was crocheted from a warm blended yarn.

  • Material: I used Katia Matiz (70% viscose, 26% alpaca, 4% wool) 50g, 110 m. I used 2 balls. Yarn required depending on size: 150 g-200 g. Crochet hook size no. 4.
Of course, you are welcome to use any yarn you like.
  • The pattern  is detailed with pictures and suitable for beginners with basic crochet knowledge.
For this pattern, you should know the following stitches and terms: chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, slip stitches, crocheting stitches together.

Here’s the pattern

The pattern for this colorful striped hat is written for all sizes and can therefore be crocheted for both children and adults. Since you can use both lighter summer yarn and thicker winter yarn, you can also crochet a beanie for every season, including fall, winter, and spring.

Even beginners can make this crochet pattern, as the pattern includes many pictures and detailed step-by-step explanations. Leftover yarn can also be used.

The stitches used are chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, and half double crochet.

Pastel colors — the “Fräulein Sara” comes to mind right away.

Fräulein Sara is a true lady rabbit. She loves lace, ruffles, pastel colors, and lavender ice cream. In spring, when it slowly gets warmer and everything gradually starts to bloom, she likes to make herself especially pretty. Because who knows, maybe one day she’ll happen to meet the rabbit man of her dreams :-)

This crochet pattern explains every step with detailed text and lots of pictures. It’s a project for more advanced crocheters with solid basic skills.

And here Fräulein Sara is waiting for you—have fun! :-)

This poncho shawl with its delicate pink waves is a hit everywhere. It looks fantastic for any occasion, and the best part is: you can wear it either as a poncho or as a triangle shawl—depending on the occasion or your preference.

It’s wonderfully light and airy, and on cool summer evenings, it provides soothing warmth for your shoulders, back, and arms.

In the two-part knitting pattern, which totals 20 pages, all steps are explained with photos. The pattern is explained in detail in two charts that you can print out. I would rate the difficulty as intermediate.

The following basic knitting and crochet skills are required:
  • knit and purl stitches
  • yarn over
  • right-leaning and left-leaning decreases (briefly explained here as well)
  • two-row seed stitch
  • knitting from a chart
  • crocheting chain stitches and single crochet stitches
  • It would be helpful if you know how to pick up stitches to the right (the pattern includes notes on this)

This summer skirt in pastel shades of pink exudes a touch of romance and retro charm and is perfect for many occasions. It’s knitted from thin cotton, is light and airy, and drapes beautifully.

The knitting pattern can be easily adapted to all sizes, including children’s sizes. The measurements shown here are based on a size 38–42.

Click here for the knitting pattern for the romantic summer skirt.

The skirt pairs wonderfully with blouses, shirts, or tops and is always a real eye-catcher.

What makes it special: Since this skirt is knitted in the round from the top down, there are no seams.

All stitch patterns are described in detail, row by row, in the pattern, so even beginner knitters with basic skills can easily make the skirt themselves.

If you want to knit a set, you can use the same colors for the matching top as well. You can find it here in my shop—it’s the airy, lightweight summer top in white and pink.

The following basic skills are required:
  • knit and purl stitches
  • working a yarn over
  • Knitting in the round
  • binding off stitches
  • increasing stitches from the strand between stitches
  • Changing colors (for the stripes)
  • Crocheting chain stitches
Many steps (including tips) are illustrated with photos in the knitting pattern.

You’ll need the following materials (for the size described here):
  • 200–250 g of cotton yarn (here: 170 m/50 g) in pink
  • 250 g of cotton in dusty pink
  • 1 x 50 g of white cotton
  • 1 x 50 g of cotton in light lilac or powder pink
  • One size 3 and one size 3.5 circular knitting needle (80), and one additional size 3 or 3.5 circular knitting needle
  • One size 4 crochet hook
  • A tapestry needle for weaving in ends
  • A few stitch markers (I make small loops out of yarn for this)

This purple gift bag with a delicate bow is perfect for small gifts and easy to make.

Whether it’s a CD, a bag charm, cosmetics, a keyring, jewelry, or something similar—this small bag, measuring approx. 15 x 17 x 6 cm and made from cardstock, has just enough room for it. And because it’s quick to make and the colors can be easily changed, you can use the same template to create many little bags that look completely different.
