This crocheted train set is very sturdy and can withstand a lot of play. And if it gets dirty outside, you can even put it in the washing machine! The individual cars are connected to each other with Velcro and can hold little dolls (Playmobil). All parts are crocheted using single crochet stitches.

These baby sneakers are very easy to crochet and look really cute, too. A lovely gift for a newborn. I crocheted these sneakers quite flat, since the warm season is coming soon and ankle-high sneakers will surely be much too warm for the little ones.

I offer a pattern in 3 sizes. I’ve explained everything step by step with clear pictures.

All children’s backpacks were crocheted using potholder yarn (cotton yarn with 90 m per 50 g).

Basic crochet skills are required. The patterns explain in detail, with lots of pictures, how to make the backpacks.

Unicorns, dragons, the Frog Prince or mermaids — who doesn’t know these mystical creatures?

Kids love them because they let their imaginations run wild while playing.

These sweet little baby socks with a cable, knitted with especially soft cashmere sock yarn (Comfort sock yarn) or alpaca sock yarn (from ApuKuntur), are especially temperature-regulating and cuddly soft.

They can also be repurposed, for example as “packaging” for cash gifts, jewelry, etc. I once packaged my wedding cash gift this way.

This baby hat is suitable all year round and designed for a head circumference of approx. 38 cm – 40 cm. If you leave off the brim, it is a beanie.

For this special sleeveless baby vest without buttons, you will need :

150 g gray merino wool + 50 g red merino wool (here: Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine 120),
50 g – 120 m, gauge according to the label: 22 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm, knitting needles 3.0–4.0; here: size 4.0 knitting needles, cable needle, size 3.5 crochet hook for the bow, stitch holder or similar for holding stitches, wool needle for weaving in ends, stitch markers are helpful.

The PDF pattern includes illustrations . The red cable on the back is worked using the intarsia technique (instructions are included) and requires some time and skill, so I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners. The cable also looks beautiful in solid gray, and the entire piece can then be knitted fairly quickly. For beginners, I recommend knitting this vest entirely without the cable and/or in a solid color.

• Use a size 2.5 crochet hook, but if you crochet loosely, it is better to use a size 2.00 instead.
