Knitting pattern: Girls' Sneakers "Pommel"

Perfect for beginners—the heel and toe are done in a completely different way. The sneakers can also be made larger individually.
A chart is included in the pattern.
Materials:
Leftover yarn (pink), approx. 20 to 30 g
Twister baby yarn, color 11, approx. 50 g
One set of double-pointed needles, size 3
2 pom-poms
Wooden beads

My scarf in double knitting technique has lots of dots and is knitted in two colors. The special thing about this technique is that both sides look equally good; the colors are simply reversed. Definitely not suitable for complete beginners, but very satisfying when you finish a project like this.
For the scarf, you need yarn with a yardage of 150 m per 50 g, 600 m of each color, plus 3 mm knitting needles.
The pattern is shown in several knitting charts.

This hat in a gingham pattern, knitted in two colors, definitely counts as checked. It might be a project for beginners in the technique, since the pattern is easy to grasp and repeats.
You’ll need a wool-blend yarn (yardage 114 m per 50 g) and 4 mm knitting needles, either a set of double-pointed needles or a circular needle.
The pattern is available in four different sizes—from children to large adults.

Colorfully striped, always cheerful and totally clumsy, Pino the Bird of Paradise stomps through the world.
Pino was made entirely from leftover yarn.

Once finished, he will be approx. 32 cm tall (when using the specified hook size and yarn weight). You will receive a detailed 20-page pattern with lots of photos to follow along.

Required skills:

Striped cotton short-sleeved cardigan

With a top under this comfortable-to-wear cotton short-sleeved cardigan, you’ll be wonderfully dressed both at work and in your free time. And when it gets cooler, a thin turtleneck can also be worn underneath.

The PDF pattern is illustrated across 23 pages.

These knitting skills are needed:
casting on stitches, knit and purl stitches, knitting stitches together, yarn over, emphasized decreases and increases from the strand between stitches (explained with pictures).


Difficulty level: intermediate

We need
a total of approx. 450 g Catania (Schachenmayr) or Limone (Schoeller+Stahl) for sizes S to L, 100% mercerized cotton, label information: 50 g – 125 m yardage, needle size 2.5 – 3.5,
gauge: 26 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm,

with the following color distribution:

• Blue 100 g
• White 100 g
• Dark green 150 g
• Light green 100 g

Depending on the size, more or less leftover yarn will remain from each ball.

I used here: knitting needle size 3.5, 3 stitch holders and 1 cord for putting stitches on hold, stitch markers and row counter (not absolutely necessary), pins for blocking, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.

Sock Knitting Course for 4-ply yarn using newborn baby socks

This is an illustrated sock knitting course using baby socks size 15, knitted from 4-ply sock yarn.  The baby socks can also be embroidered and used in various ways—not just as baby socks—for example as “packaging” for cash gifts or sweets, as an Advent calendar, as a keychain (it looks prettier if made proportionally smaller), and more.

For this cozy sleeping spot, the yarn already provides a certain basic pattern; to top it all off, the whole thing also gets a paw pattern. Small paw appliqués in one place and a large paw in another.
This lounging spot for your beloved pet can be turned over, after all. It is crocheted with a size 6 hook and made from soft yarn.

I’d like to introduce you to some of my striped patterns here. The great thing about a striped pattern is that you can really let loose with colors and use either lots of colors or just a few.

This striped beanie can be worn in both summer and winter. You just need to use the right yarn for it. The cuff can be adjusted to any size, so the hat can be worn by children and adults.

The Marie baby blanket is not only wonderfully cozy, but also keeps babies warm. You can design the color gradient yourself, so all color combinations are possible. Because of its size, the blanket can also still be used by toddlers.

This lightweight polo sweater for toddlers (estimated size 86–92 here) is a real eye-catcher thanks to its color combination, button placket, embroidered motifs on the front and back, and fresh stripes. What makes it special: It has almost no seams—only the top of the shoulder is sewn together.

Stripes in a completely different way. :-)

In these two lightweight summer pullovers made from fine cotton, the stripes are arranged in a completely different way, making them real eye-catchers. Thanks to the pattern, they are very airy and loose.

You can easily make both pullovers yourself—even as a beginner. Each description includes lots of photos and precise details—including measurements—and can be easily adapted to all sizes. Here we are using size 38-42.

Lucky Beetle 

Why not give a little luck as a gift with the Lucky Beetle? With this fun little fellow, you’re sure to make lots of people—and yourself—happy.
Cotton yarn was used here, such as Schachenmayr Catania or Gründl Cotton Quick Uni.

The difficulty level is easy and well-suited for beginners.

The figure is 13 cm tall (up to the antennae) and approximately 17 cm long. You can use any cotton yarn with a length of 125 m per 50 g, or, of course, your favorite yarn. The size may vary depending on the type and thickness of the yarn.

Also used: a size 2 crochet hook, 10 mm half-beads, stuffing, a hot glue gun, sewing thread, and sewing supplies.

Mother Owl and Baby Owl 

Cotton yarn was used here, for example Schachenmayr Catania, Gründl Cotton Quick Uni, Katja Capri, or Limone by Schöller & Stahl. You can use any cotton yarn with a yardage of 125 m per 50 g, or of course your favorite yarn. The size may vary depending on the type and weight of the yarn.

The mother owl is about 23 cm tall, and the baby owl is about 14 cm tall.

This double-knit potholder is striped. Hearts are also worked into the stripes.
Basic knowledge of the technique is helpful, but if you'd like to give it a try, a potholder is quick to make.
You'll need cotton in two different colors; depending on the yarn weight, plan on 45–60 m, plus knitting needles that are a little thinner than recommended on the yarn label. The border and the hanging loop are then crocheted, so you'll also need a matching crochet hook.

Aquamarin is an airy, relaxed, lightweight summer shawl with an easy-to-follow yet eye-catching pattern.
